The Colonied

This stay was much better than our last visit to this resort. Room was clean, air conditioning was working, no problems to report with the room.

Great stay

Cons: The only improvement I would recommend is the treadmills in the fitness rooms. The TV's didn't work on them and they were not well maintained.
Our family really enjoyed the comfort of the Colonies. Loved that we had everything we needed and it was all clean and comfortable. Will definitely go back.

Quiet home away from home

Well appointed condo/suite. Everything was clean and with the triple locked door entry we felt very secure. The kids loved the fun outdoor pool with slides and a mini-lazy river (pool towels were available and included). I was very happy with the fully equipped kitchen - we had everything we needed to make breakfast lunch and dinner. Truly was like a home away from home.

Close to everything and awesome pool area

Check in was smooth. Condo was very clean and kitchen was well stocked with essential items. Master bath shower was large and so like. The splash pool area was great and staff there was very friendly.

Outstanding personal service from staff member

My grandchildren and I came to Williamsburg to visit Busch Gardens. The condo was clean, roomy, beds were great, loved the nice shower in one bathroom and tub in other bathroom. Linens were provided. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a meal. My grandchildren enjoyed the indoor pool and we hope to return when outdoor pool is open. My grandson accidentally locked the car keys in the car. It was around 9 pm when we discovered this. The athletic staff person got on the phone and found a locksmith in another town who was willing to drive over to Williamsburg. The athletic staff person stayed with me beyond her shift to make sure the locksmith arrived, that the car was unlocked and that we were safe. We are very grateful for her caring assistance and look forward to our next visit to Colonies of Williamsburg. The athletic staff persons Outstanding assistance was reported to a manager by phone.

Excellent condo and location. Beware of the fine print - maid service is weekly. You need to launder towels, make beds and wash the dishes. Did not bother us at all. Great stay.

Guests are asked to dispose of trash in several conveniently located sites on property. Mid-week cleaning is available upon request at a charge. A mid-week cleaning includes beds being made with fresh linens, removal of trash and replacement of liners, exchange of all bath and kitchen linens, and the vacuuming of the unit. Unit towel or linen exchange may also be arranged for a fee. A $50 fine is applicable for units left excessively unclean. We are pleased to know you had a great stay with us and we look forward to serving you again soon.
