It was a nice stay but I had higher expectations. Although it wasn't terrible I doubt I'll stay again.

Convenient hotel, GREAT service, but shoddy rooms.

Pros: Phenomenal service, good location.
Cons: Room construction/look/feel. Bathroom accessibility and planning. Hire better painters.
Location: Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, College of William and Mary.
The concierge and the service were beyond excellent. Personnel at the hotel were wonderful in every interaction. It was superbly convenient to Williamsburg and surrounds. The pools looked nice, though we didn't have time for them. However, the room we were assigned was alike to an aging college dormitory, of the sort created prior to 1960. Or perhaps a roadside motel on Old Route 66. While the bed seemed newish, and was very comfortable, the overall aspect of the room was long in the tooth. At some recent point, the trim or bathroom had been repainted and the painters had splattered gobs of thick, glossy white paint into the carpet, the living room walls, and the curtains. Hella messy looking. The room was quiet, and the white noise of the AC was a good cover for anything else, but the AC hadn't been cleaned in ages, it was oozing dust, and for all that it ran most of the night, the room was very humid. Almost moist inside. The bathroom had been redone at some point, but had a miniscule sink and poorly installed/poor quality fixtures. The shower was good, but hadn't thought to include any shelving or nooks for toiletries inside... so I had to put the tiny bottles of shampoo on the floor and constantly bend down to reach anything. Which would be a BIG problem for some elderly or mobility impaired guests. Maybe the newer rooms are different, but these ones were sketchy.

Great vacation

Pros: Basically everything.
Cons: The staff who cleaned our room left out a few minor things ( tissue replacement and coffee ) but overall they were terrific.
Location: The resort is situated just right to all the area shopping and food. All other attractions are within a 1 hour drive. Great location.
Had a wonderful time. The room was clean and comfortable. The resort staff was terrific. Great outdoor pool. We would highly recommend to family and friends.

Prettier in Pictures

Pros: cheap.
I guess when I booked I forgot to read all reviews... Looks great in pictures, but we stayed in a room on the back of the main building, that looked more like a cheap motel. Bathroom smelled a little like mold. A little disappointing but I guess for a short 2 day trip with kids it was alright. Did not like the sales pitch for timeshares as soon we entered the lobby either. We were tired and they were a little pushy. I don't think we will stay there again.

Just an ok hotel room.... Room was only cleaned once in my 3 day stay (the last day)

Nice hotel conviently located to colonial Williamsburg pleasant staff a little dated but well kept we would definitely stay here again Bob S.NJ

Very nice close to alot of activities sals pizza shop is awsome and roccos bbq was awsome as well tjhe west gate was a nice comfortable place to stay

Great hotel and close to William and Mary College

Nice but did not realize it was a time share.

We went on the 90 minute tour that ended up being 139 minutes, 3 managers and a great price in the end but hated the lady who practically tackled us when we walked in to checkin. Very pushy asking if we'd take the tour , then $20 deposit, to take your tour , but next time I know , will possibly stay again and say NO very loudly.
