This is a very attractive and comfortable facility

Posted Nov 11, 2016
Pros: The location is wonderful for walking through the Revolutionary City in Williamsburg, The hotel itself has pretty outdoor areas.
Location: The hotel is about two blocks from the historical area and in walking distance to great shops and restaurants,
I attended a conference there and after our sessions walked to the Revolutionary Village and nearby shops and restaurants. The hotel is in a lovely safe neighborhood, On those days we did not want to go out, there are restaurant options. The staff was always so friendly and helpful.

Walk into History

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Location: A block from Historic Williamsburg and within walking distance of Merchant's Square for shopping and restaurants.
Small Bathroom. Clean room. Would have liked to have a small refrigerator to keep my water chilled.

Culture, comfort, & convenience!

Posted Oct 30, 2016
Pros: Room was cozy and comfortable. Climate control effective, charging stations for electronics in the room, and super clean.
Cons: My room key card demagnetized 3 times (despite not being near a cell phone or other cards) - so that was an inconvenience to have to stop at the desk repeatedly.
Location: Super convenient access to the historic area of Colonial Williamsburg via foot or bus shuttles!

Perfect location

Posted Oct 29, 2016
Pros: It was a great room, great location
Cons: The only thing.....very minor.....the Lodge is designed as a colonial period home with wood floors that creak like crazy......but it's part of it.....
Location: Do all three for sure....the Colonial Parkway is your private road
Smart....short walk from Williamsburg/W&M College, Excellent bar and restaurant, ON the Colonial Parkway to Yorktown and Jamestown.....

Great get away location.

Hotel/Lodge is spread out over a wide area, which can be a bit confusing finding where you need to be. Otherwise, great location, staff and food. Only place to stay in Williamsburg!

Charming and Very Comfortable Hotel

Posted Sep 26, 2016
Pros: Room and public areas were beautiful and comfortable and the location was excellent.
This was our second stay at the Williamsburg Lodge in the past few months. It is a great balance between the charm of Colonial Williamsburg and all the modern comforts. The room was great--spacious, clean and nicely decorated with both a four poster bed and a lovely wide screen TV. The Sweet Tea & Barley lounge was a great place to hear live music and have a nightcap. Being able to walk right to and through the Colonial Williamsburg area was also a plus. I am sure we will be back when we are visiting Williamsburg.

Very pleased with my stay at the Lodge. Helpful and friendly staff, rooms were quite nicely appointed and comfortable, and easy walking distance to the many sites and activities at Colonial Williamsburg. Would definitely stay here again.

Would not stay again

Posted Sep 18, 2016
The Expedia email said that check in was at 3:00 but when we arrived, the hotel said their check in was at 4:00 - we would have stayed elsewhere if we had known that. My husband had worked night shift the night before and then also had to work early that morning so the plan was for him to rest before our 6:00 event but we couldn't check in. Check in was very busy and very confusing. The floorboards are very, very noisy - it is not possible to even tiptoe around the room without making a lot of noise - we were also in the room next to the ice vending machine so even more noisy.
