Christmas weekend

Posted Dec 31, 2016
Pros: Spacious, clean.
Cons: Check-in process
Location: Off the Main Street. About 10 minutes from main Williamsburg.
Weekend was fun. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Great space for an extended family stay. The only con was a very long check-in. We waited an hour because rooms were not cleaned yet. Front desk staff were friendly and offered hot cocoa while we waited.

The facilities are beautiful. Very comfortable and clean. However, be ready to have a hard push for you to attend a breakfast to hear about Club Wyndham. I just wanted someplace to stay and relax.....don't push your timeshare on me!!

Resort is Fine - Beware: It's a time share resort

Posted Aug 26, 2012
Pros: Nice Resort with very hard bed - Stay away from the Sales Presentation at all cost.
Cons: The Sales Staff trying to sell me to become an owner. Lack of respect and could care less about your kids.
Location: Local to many area attractions
The accomodations were good. The Bed was terribly hard and uncomfortable. Turns out this is a time share so they will try and sell you to become an owner. We reluctantly accepted the offer to listen to the sales pitch because they offered up discounted busch gardens tickets. On hindsight - I would have prefered to spend the additional 100+ dollars on the tickets to avoid the runny eggs and cold sausage.... followed by an over-friendly sales person who became cold and impersonal once it was apparant that we were not buying (90 minutes into the 1 hour time committment). Don't be fooled by the "Game Room" for the kids....it's a very small room geared to very young children so my 11 and 13 year old were miserable. I would recommend the resort - but absolutely refuse to the sales presentation regardless of what they are offering as a gift - it is not worth it.

NOt impressed

Posted Sep 1, 2010
We stayed in room 1721. Our first impression was good-the rooms were clean and it was nicely decorated. However, after using the bathroom, I noticed that the drain on the sink was not opening and closing properly. My husband had the hindsight to check the toilet before we called for maintenance. The toilet was flushing very slowly....Well--Maintenance came to fix the toilet and after using it twice it clogged up....this continued to happen throughout our stay--they would say it was fixed, we would use it twice and it would clog again! We finally stopped using it!! We tried to get a refund from the front desk for our inconvenience, but were told that we had to go through the t ravel agency we used....although there was a second bathroom in our condo it definitely put a damper on our vacation....Our advice---if you decide to stay here check your toilets first and be sure to stay away from room 1721!!
