Good Resort for Couples or FamiliesPosted May 19, 2017
Pros: Comfy bed, lots of activities, pools, location
Cons: Updates to furnishings, water pressure control
Very nice resort with lots of activities to do to keep everyone busy. Great location, about 10-15 minute drive to everything you would want to do nearby. Staff was excellent and super helpful at check-in and give you a welcome packet with ideas of activities and coupons for places nearby. Rooms were a little dated but stiff nice. Bed was very comfortable. There were a couple little things that needed fixing up, like the tub drain would not stay open so the shower would fill up and would not drain and the water temperature fluctuated frequently in the shower and all the sinks. Overall though, the resort is beautiful and well-run. There are 4 pools, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool for everyone, a little wading pool for kids, and an adults-only pool, as well as the hot tub, which is reserved for adults after 6 pm. This is a great resort especially if staying for longer periods like a week or for getaways with a lot of down time.

Another great stayPosted May 1, 2017
This is our 2nd stay here but the first of this year. We really love the amenities at this resort. The free mini-golf and game room really help with the downtime we have back at the resort. This time we got a one bedroom for our family of 4 and it was definitely a little more cramped with the kids on the pull out couch and not as much room as we would like when relaxing in the living room. Definitely sticking to the 2 bedrooms in the future. The pools are great and their outdoor pool was already open for the season (but not the restaurant yet). My kids thought the lights at the pool at night were really cool as well. The resort is in a great location for Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and restaurants etc. Nothing seemed more than 20min away. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. No push at all on the sales pitch. They gave my daughter a cute button for her birthday which made her day.

Good value, BEWARE the sales pitchPosted Feb 21, 2017 on Hotels
Not your typical hotel. This is basically a rental unit in an apartment complex. Room was clean and comfortable enough though the bed was a bit worn out and saggy. PLEASE NOTE: they will try to tell you you've won a few vacation and you just have to go to a free breakfast to get more information. Unless you are interested in a timeshare sales pitch just say "no thank you". You may have to be a bit aggressive and demand your parking pass and walk away. Their sales pitch is quite demanding and they refused to give me any information, just kept insisting I go to the breakfast. When I called later to say I wouldn't be going they implied a vacation had been booked in my name and I'd be charged $1800! The "hotel" is nice enough and a good price so if you go just be prepared to stand up to their aggressive sales people.

Our assigned rooms had not been cleaned. Called house keeping and the rooms were ready 75 minutes after our check.-in.

Home away..Posted Dec 30, 2016
Cons: Breakfast and coffee could be provided.
The option to have a 2-bed condo suit is great... An active clubhouse to hang out.. A relaxing and quiet ambience in general..
