I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, and the room was very quiet. The staff and management were helpful when needed. The breakfast served was pretty bland and tasteless - pancake machine was broken, egg white "omelet" was tasteless; fruit was very limited, there really was not much to eat there. In other words, a typical hotel discounted breakfast. Any real restaurant would be better. Management tried to help me fix my room reservation, where I had mistakenly booked a room at a rate way above what I could get reimbursed by the company I was working for. The hotel management said they could adjust my rate, since I am a veteran. But Expedia, which handled the reservation, would not allow the hotel to adjust my rate downward. Expedia told the hotel manager that on the phone, and they told me that in an email. However, an Expedia customer "service" guy told me the manager was wrong, that the hotel was free to adjust my room rate downward because this was a "hotel collect" reservation. But Expedia told me just the opposite in an email where they said they would not allow a change because "they were protecting me!!" Expedia wound up costing me a lot of extra money, because they would not allow the hotel to adjust my room rate. And their customer "service" people won't admit what they did, and won't admit that they did it to make a higher commission for Expedia. The hotel was great, but Expedia not so much.

Not worth the money for a bad experience.
We booked this hotel for a basketball trip. Staff was great at attending to our needs of blankets, towels, and trashbags. We chose this hotel in Williston beacuse it was the only one with a hot tub.....the hot tub was out of order at check-in. The hotel was full of basketball teams and there was alot of boys running thru the hallways until about 11pm while their parents hung out in the breakfast room with their refreshments. I had to ask the boys on multiple occasions to stop knocking on our doors (room full of girls) and to stop playing in the elevator.

The front desk attendant did not provide any information about the hotel amenities such as breakfast times, pool hours, etc. Upon inquiring about breakfast, I was told that the kitchen was out of service and therefore no breakfast would be served. Additionally, after receiving our key card, we were left to find the elevator on our own. The following morning, I discovered that breakfast was actually available while I was checking for coffee. This lack of communication and service is unlike my experiences at other hotels.

What I liked: Comfy bed, good size, setup (sink separate from toilet & shower), shower pressure, clean, and several breakfast options -bagels, cereal, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, veggie omelette, sausage, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, and various other options. What I disliked: I booked a single king but when I arrived, they tried to give me a room with double beds. I essentially had to "prove" what I registered & paid for before she checked if a king was available. I was unable to watch TV. "No signal". Tried different input settings & ensured cords were plugged in. Fiinally got TV to turn on. Yay! But couldn't get it off the shopping network channel. The only buttons on remote that worked were volume, mute, power, & input. Green light lit at the point of remote when I pushed other buttons (channel up/down, menu, guide, numbers, etc.) but no effect on TV. Advised by front desk to look for channel guide sheet, which I had already searched for & could not locate. She offered to bring a different remote to try but never did. Apple juice lacked flavor & sprayed when I tried filling my cup at breakfast. I relayed this and staff ruled out the syrup being empty but said it wasn't connected correctly. She dumped the liquid in tray but didn't fix the problem. No hotel breakfast is complete without apple juice. Coffee was not good either. I stayed in several hotels during the week I spent in Williston. Others were just okay in all areas whereas Holiday had strong likes & disikes for me.

Before I booked this hotel, I called all hotels in the area with a pool and hot tub, I was told both were working. Upon getting there to check in there was a sign at the desk saying the hot tub was out of service, I asked when they thought it would be back open only to be informed by 2 staff memebers that it had been down for over a year. One morning coffee/breakfast was not available at 645 when my husband when down, the next morning and every morning after the pancake maker was out of pancake mix and the breakfast attendant failed to replace it with more even after I told her but was able to make herself a plate of breakfast. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday they had no white milk, only options available were chocolate or vanilla soy. Went in the pool only one night while there and chose not to return after being greeted by a spider the size of a quarter in the pool. For the price of this hotel it's a shame that guests don't get what they pay for and are lied to by the staff.

I travel for my job, and I expect a home away from home from the hotels I stay in. And, if I'm going to pay over $150 for a hotel/night, it really needs to be comfy in so many ways. This hotel & my room was clean, neat, & smelled good. I slept great too! The bed & bedding was very comfortable. And, I loved the sink and counter outside of the shower/toilet room. A fridge is expected too so Thank You. I used the treadmill in the gym. The tv only played one channel (a Twins baseball game), so not what I like to run to, but oh well. Ha! I would definitely stay again.

The description on this property’s room was incorrect. The hotel said they would not help because I book through Expedia. Contacting Expedia was a struggle. Six Days after the problem Expedia was able to get the hotel to refund the night's stay. It was still a rough night but at least they fix the financial burden.
