The only issue was that there was new parking lot concrete being poured - a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Shady back alley scam house

The stay was manageable, although not a place I would stay again, until about an hour after we had checked out and had been driving to our next destination, I received a call from the hotel manager trying to tell me that they were missing two pillows out of the room we had occupied. Confused, I asked her what she was talking about. After she proceeded to tell me that they had looked over the whole room and were missing the two pillows, I told her that I didn't know what to tell her and that we had not taken anything out of their room. She proceeded to tell me repeatedly that they weren't saying we tool anything, but that they were going to be charging my card an additional $40.00. I asked her how many pillows were supposed to be in the room, she told me 5. I said that there had definitely not been 5 pillows on the single king bed when he had checked in. As she continued to speak very smugly to me I pulled up their website and found the single king bed room on the virtual tour feature of the site. The tour clearly shows the rooms having only three pillows on the beds. When I brought this to her attention, she rudely insisted that their website was wrong and that regardless of the facts, they would be charging my card. I asked to speak to the manager and the woman on the phone told me she was the general manager. So all in all this woman ripped me off for $40 and told me it didn't matter what I said or that I was a paying customer, my word meant nothing.

Very Good Comfort Inn in Willow Springs

Clean and comfortable typical Comfort Inn in a rural small town. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with good choices. Very good bed and quiet surrounding area. I would definitely stay again.

Newly constructed. Helpful staff. Not pleased that they require a $100 deposit that they hold for a couple of days even when paying with credit card. Very nice stay overall.

Convenient for our trip

Very comfortable & firm mattresses. Good fridge with freezer compartment. Best coffee at a hotel in a long time! Very friendly staff. Very noisy machines outside putting in extra parking area, but fortunately stopped before bedtime.

Check-in service was very good. When we enquired about the restaurant next door, the desk clerk told us to let them know we were staying there so we would get a 10% discount. Whatever they use for air freshener, they use too much.
