nice well placed hotel.

Posted Aug 20, 2017
Pros: Very clean modern hotel.
Cons: Tea making facilities in the rooms and possibly a fan or AC, rooms where very warm at night even with the windows open.
Location: Very well located with a super market close by, plenty of places to eat and drink at very reasonable prices and some open 24 hours.
A very nice hotel well placed in a quiet part of Berlin but within walking distance of most attractions, lots of places to eat and drink and the staff where very pleasant and helpful and I would seriously consider staying there again.

Average hotel in beautiful city *no laundry svc!*

Posted Jul 30, 2017 on CheapTickets
Pros: Good location, walking distance to the S-Bahn. Nice part of town, dark drapes, openable windows.
Cons: Better soundproofing, less slippery bathroom floors, secured Wi-Fi.
Location: Kurfürstendamm Street (Berlin's Rodeo Drive), Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin Zoo, Tiergarten.
It's an okay place, not terrible, not spectacular. There are fees that are not included in the CheapTicket's price. The staff are curt, but this is Germany, so nothing to be surprised about. My room opened up to the back, so it was mostly quiet. The windows open all the way, too. There are vending machines in the lobby. There is breakfast in the lobby restaurant until 10:30, but it is not free. In terms of outright negatives there are three that immediately come to mind. One is that the description says it has "Dry cleaning/laundry service". It is for this reason we eventually choose this hotel over others in the area, as we were coming from another city and knew we would need this type of service by the time we hit Berlin. Unfortunately, it has no such service. So that's an outright lie. Second is extremely slippery bathroom floors. The third is thin walls. You can definitely hear people talking in the next room, almost being able to hear their conversation word for word. The elevator is also comically small. The Wi-Fi is free, but completely unsecured. Drapes are heavy and fairly blackout, loved those. The staff does speak English.

Very good location. Bus stops very close and supermarkets and bakery along the street which also sells coffee and ready made rolls if one does not want to have breakfast at the hotel.

Good location, amenities and comfort

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: Location, amenities etc
Location: Kurfurstendamm (the big posh shopping street) is a two minute walk away, and the local supermarket and restaurants offer good choice at low prices.
The hotel is a five minute walk from Adenauerplatz underground station (which is the line direct from Rudow station - Schoenenfeld Airport). Lots of bus options as well. A large supermarket is a minute walk away and there are a number of restaurants within five minutes as well. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Breakfast looked OK but, as it had increased from 9.90 when I booked the room two months ago to 12.90, I decided to find somewhere a little more within my price range. It did have a wide selection of cold options (hams, cheese, fruit, muslei etc) with the only hot items being eggs (scrambled or boiled). The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. Lots of cupboard space. Elevator is a bit slow so if you're on the lower floors, it's probably quicker to walk.

If you looking something cheap - go for it

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: Very friendly staff and good location
Cons: Cleaning
Location: There is a shop and bus stop neaby - it is not in the centre but using the bus can get there in less than 30 min!
It was not either good or bad experience. Hotel has 3 starts; therefore, cannot expect something fancy. Room could be slightly better cleaned thoough. Overall it was a price and quality balance. Cheap but OK. Stuff was friedly (sometimes lacking a bit of English but it was not a problem at all!). Recommend for sort stay but do not expect something fancy!

The hotel room was big and clean. Location is very good, close to the shopping center with many coffee shops and restaurants. It is nice and relaxing to stay here.
