The rooms are alright but there is no phone service but staff are friendly and helpful. I will return to it again because of the staff.

Very dirty and outdated.

The carpet was grimy and stained. We didn't feel comfortable walking barefoot in the room. The shower was also stained and outdated.

Pros: The value...
Cons: at these prices?..nada...
Location: 5 minutes out of the parking lot left to downtown Wilmington, turn right out of the parking-lot and drive 15 minutes to the Atlantic ocean......
I stay here exclusively on business when in Wilmington. Always the best 2 star in town !!

Not Worth It

I would recommend staying elsewhere when visiting Wilmington. Other hotels at comparable rates are available. The building is old and shows wear. The rooms are small. The bathroom was unclean. The air conditioner is old with mold. Sheets and towels were not changed out when room was 'cleaned' for the day. I could overhear staff talking about hotel guests (talking 'trash') and complaining about guests/working when I was in the lobby. For all you dog owners: Expedia did not let me know there was a weight limit for dogs (25 lbs) when staying here. A manager made me very aware of this during check-in. When I called to confirm my reservation three days prior, the staff who answered the phone questioned why I was confirming over the phone, "You don't need to do this". I was calling to make sure the hotel was aware I was bringing dogs (a great chance for the hotel to make me aware of this policy). This is why I was confirming over the phone. To avoid confusion during check-in.

Cons: Breakfast could have some "fresher" choices
Location: Convenient to downtown, shopping, local landmarks
Nice hotel that is convenient to downtown - 7 minutes. No frills but adequate.

It's a nice older hotel a bit dated. The staff were all very nice.

Room was a little small

Stayed there 3 night in a row. Nice pool. Great staff.Great air conditioning. Bed was small shower is a little low had to bend down to was my hair

Safe clean 2 star with great staff!!

Pros: The value and the staff
Cons: At these prices, are you kidding?...I've saved a TON of cash!
Location: Right between historic downtown Wilmington (left out of the parking lot..5 minutes..) and the Atlantic Ocean ( right out of the parking lot....)
I've stayed here many times over the past 2 years, always a good experience. It is an older motel, but everything worked. Good water-pressure, good microwave and fridge, the TV was good, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. Check-in is always fast and friendly. The only issue I've ever had is the previous tenant swiping the ashtray (they'll give you one at the front desk...)

Pictures are misleading

Room smelled like mildew. The bathroom had black spots all in the bathroom even in the bathtub. We wore our shoes even to shower. The photos of this place are very misleading.
