Nice hotel close to downtown

Posted Feb 9, 2017
My only real complaints were parking and the shower. The parking was very limited and with some events going on in their conference rooms it was extremely difficult to find a spot. The shower was a rain shower head but there is no door on half the shower area so it's open and the heat is lost. Whatever part of your body is not directly in the hot water is going to be cold.

Excellent view of the River and walkway.

Posted Dec 30, 2016
Pros: Location, their breakfast and the staff.
Cons: The doors to the bathrooms.
Need to be dressed for the outdoors before leaving room, since you step out to the environment when you step out of your room. The room gave a great view of the river and boardwalk. New construction going on next door was a little gawdy. The hotel is close to shops and places to eat all along the river front. You do not have to go far to find historic markers and tour downtown Wilmington to see the history and historic home still there. The breakfast was well done. If you like trains, the train museum is near by and you can hear the trains down the river blowing their horns when they change out cars from time to time.

We greatly appreciate your comments. We certainly hope you enjoyed your stay. The downtown area is growing very quickly and with growth comes construction. The hotel being built will be a definite asset to the downtown area and hopefully will bring business to the Coastline Convention Center. We hope to see you again when you're in Wilmington

Amazing View, mediocre rooms.

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Pros: Great view and location
Cons: Our room was tiny and loud. The room we were in was right off the elevator, but you could hear everyone and everything all night long.
The reception desk employees were delightful and eager to help.

Attended my Marine Corps Ball at the Wilmington Convention Center and the hotel was located right next to it. The location was perfect and the staff was wonderful. I originally purchased a King size bed and later called to change it to a 2 queen beds. The staff happily accepted my request.

Pet areas unlit, poorly or untended entirely. Land mines of door afoot. But staff superb.

Great Location

Posted Apr 30, 2016
Pros: The Location, scenic views, friendly staff
Location: USS North Carolina, Front Street Shopping District
The location is great. The hotel is right off the river walk and only a short walk to the Front Street shopping district. The rooms have great views of the Cape Fear River and are very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and make sure you are comfortable. For the price and location, I would highly recommend staying here.
