Found hair in coffee in breakfast room. Also, the attendant of breakfast room commented out loud about news shown on the television and her personal political opinions - this was irritating while trying to have some peace at breakfast time.

My Stay At Day's Inn

This was an overnight stay and it was pleasant one. I have stayed here before and each experience has been great. The staff was helpful and check in and out was quick.

Never stay here

Hotel staff was rude and slow. Went to my room which smelled of cigarettes and weed (supposed to be non smoking) waited an hour to get the cable fixed in my room all to be moved to another room, which is what i asked for in the first place. Staff was inconsiderate and spent time talking to each other quite loudly.

Hotel next to I 95 and mall

This hotel is close to the Mall and it is a good choice to have a rest after shopping. Also it is only 40 mins drive to Philadelphia.

Non smoking room....but smelled like smoke in room

Great stay

Very difficult to find due to the GPS, but great stay, quiet and next to Applebees 40 sec walk

First two days everything worked fine after the third day everything was not in working order example washer/ dryer worked fine day one day two dryer broke day three both were put out order as well as the coffee/ tea machine and the orange juice/apple juice machine were down as well the vending machine took my money as well as the medical dispensing machine staff told me front desk would reimburse never received my money back YET nice rooms but some of the staff were very clueless as to how to treat clients

Dear guest: thank you for taking the time to let us know how your experience was. I do apologize for the washer and dryers being down, we contacted the persons responsible for the maintenance of the machines and they never came so we purchased and installed new ones ourselves, we also apologize for the juice and coffee machines being down, the juice machines internal water holder froze solid and the machine had to be unplugged, with both juice and coffee running off the same water line, it did present a problem, as far as the medical dispensing machine, if money is lost, you need to come to the front desk so that we can hand you the money and fill out a reimbursment slip so that the persons responsible for maintaining that machine(not us again sorry)can give us the money back as well. I am not sure who the person/s you spoke to were concerning any of your issues, but most of the staff do know how to handle most situations, and your concerns could have been explained and better handled, I will be speaking to them regarding guest interaction. I am pleased however that you were able to enjoy our renovated rooms. We hope that you will come visit again if ever in the Newark Delaware area again.

Bad night

The room they put me in 217 had no hot water so they switched me to 238 which also had no hot water.

Dear guest thank you for taking the time to let us know how your stay was, we apologize for the lack of hot water in our guest rooms, we had a water main break the that morning and the water was not available until later that evening, so the hot water tanks had to be drained to remove the sediments that were backing up through the lines once the pipes were repaired. This was and we hope a once in a properties life time, and we are truly sorry it happened during your stay. We hope you may return if and stay again if you are ever in the Newark Delaware area again.
