This is a 1 or below star hotel

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Horrible experience- cigarette burns and strains on bed. Mold and stained bathroom. Also there was blood on the walls. You could smell someone smoking weed outside. The pool was completely nasty, dark green water. We saw two hookers and three crackheads literally. Also your homeless people trying to get into empty rooms. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Also we had to switch rooms twice bc of how bad the rooms were and when I told the lady in the front about the Hookers and crackheads she said we'll that's what you get with a 1 star hotel. The only thing missing was bed bugs but I'm sure they have those too.

Perfect Location For All Activities

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: I like the fact that it was in the middle of all of hour activities.
Cons: I believe the rooms should be looked at a lot carefully like making sure things in the room work properly i.e. lights, microwaves etc.
Location: The location is perfect if you are looking to shop, head to the beach or even grab a bite to eat or dine-in and the locals are cool.
The staff was ok for there was not much interaction with them. The room was ok for you get what you pay for just please do not look for a 3-5 star room and or service. It's an affordable hotel but the location is excellent. You can head to so many beaches from that location and there are many strip mall stores around the area.

Nasty hotel.....

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: The staff was ok.
Cons: EVERYTHING
We had to change rooms 4 times just to get a habitable one. The first room has a non-working A/C unit. The second had mold growing in the bathroom. The third rooms floor was soaked.

Decent hotel for the money

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Overall decent, brought my dog at no extra cost which was a bonus. By no means a fancy hotel or the best accommodations, but would stay again

Pay the extra Money and go - anywhere else

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Everything.
The room was not clean. No towels, no stopper for the tub, the ac would not adjust, toilet paper holder broken, the "hot" and "cold" water selector broken. Staff moved like molasses. If I hadn't been so tired I'd have gone somewhere else.

Everything was close to the hotel!

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Amazing hotel! Amazing staff! Everything was so close to this hotel. You had various stores, fast food and restaurants. Breakfast was good, wifi was fast and the pool was perfect. My pet enjoyed the hotel as well. Only thing I do have to say is that the rooms need a fridge and microwave.

Pros: There were no roaches and one of the housekeepers went out of her way to make us feel welcome. If not for her, we would have packed up and left.
Cons: Cleanliness: inside and out. Training employees to be more friendly.
Location: In Wilmington. Close to Wrightsville and Carolina Beach
Upon check in there was one person working at the desk and after waiting in line for what seemed like a long time, she was noticeably upset about a confusing situation that she was trying to solve with the guests standing in front of her. The front desk staff was helpful, but they were none too pleasant. The room was a double non-smoking room with at least 20 cigarette burns on the bed spread. It took inspecting the beds and removing dog hair and pubic hair so that my son would sleep in the bed. For the money, it could have been much nicer and the employees should get a raise.

At least it was truly pet friendly.

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: They did not charge extra for us bringing our pets.
Cons: A lick of paint here and there and some new chairs and better overall maintenance.
Location: It was about 5 miles from Downtown Wilmington along a straight road and not far from Wrightsville beach. There were loads of good restaurants nearby.
The hotel was central, close to restaurants and shops and a short enough drive to the beaches for what I had planned. The pool was operational although the water was a little cloudy, but we did get to enjoy it. Our room was well worn and a little scruffy but as we had requested pet friendly we did not feel we could complain about the state of the room. We went there because we got a better deal than an alternate location which was going to charge an extra $90 to bring our dogs for 2 days, so you could say we got what we paid for. Everything worked as it should and the staff were friendly enough.
