this was the worst place I have ever stayed. There were roaches, burn holes on the furniture. It was disgusting…sketchy guy working on his car and no attendant to assist when my key would not work coming in at midnight……my daughter and I literally stayed with the dresser drawer up against the door. I was in shock a place could be open for business like this

Rooms are extremely dirty, especially the floors. Definitely not mopped in a month or so. Bed comforters were not clean and had hair all over it. Crumbs on the sheets. Had to change rooms. No care or attention to detail with cleanliness and upkeep is being applied to this property. Worst experience ever!

This is on Expedia! You rated this property high, Expedia. I believed it. It was awful, scary, disgusting, lacked supplies, had to switch rooms and the second one wasn't much better. Supposed to be non smoking-smelled of smoke badly. People partying, playing loud music all night. Cockroaches, plugged drain when trying to shower. Someone had taken a crap in the bathroom and it was not cleaned or flushed! Hair dryer fell off the wall. So much more! It was awful

For the price and location near Wrightsville Beach, NC, this is a decent property, and the staff nicely came to the door at 11:50 PM, after their office was closed. Parking was plentiful and easy and well lit, and it was quiet. Free Wifi was quite good. However, the room had several problems. The microwave oven was broken and had a "shorted display" fault and was blaring out a loud alarm. I had to look around for the plug inside a cupboard to shut it off. The shower/tub was leaking pretty fast and the pillows smelled funny. Much of the room was a little sticky... A little attention to the room would have made this a better stay.

Room didn't smell stale, it smelled of weed. Pillows were crap. Thankfully it was too chilly for the pool cause it was nasty. I'm sure they just sweep the floors cause the bottom on my daughter's sock were dirty after walking around in just socks. While checking the room I saw under the mattress..HORRID

Been coming here most years for a decade. The rooms are nice with a kitchen. This year they required a deposit of $50.00 at check in for the first time. They say it will be refunded. Hopefully.

Worst place to stay
The lady that checked us in was very nice and friendly but after that it quickly went down hill. There was dog poop all over side walk walkways and stair were nasty. People outside on balcony Smokey cigarettes and pot. Cigarette smoke smell was so strong in our no smoking room. Blankets on bed had cigarette burns all over. Door lock was broken stove burners were broken when we told office lady was very rude and told us she couldn’t do anything about it. People outside on balcony at night were so loud they would wake you up at all hours of the night. We will not be back!!!

Reception staff super helpful and friendly. Hotel pretty typical of “lower end, extended stay” place . Always a few sketchy-looking folks around, but room was clean and did the trick for a place to stay to hit the beautiful beaches nearby .

Roaches, flies and gnats were horrible, I never opened my door but they were still coming in, the floors were black, like they have never ever been mopped. Also paint splattered everywhere all over the floors cabinet doors. Every one of them were sticky to the touch.

Very disappointed in this location. Room was not ready 2 hours past check in time. Inside room was ok, but not as clean as it should be. Outside hotel was very messy and dirty. Pool was closed without explanation.

The pictures are way better than the room actually was. The site did not say anything about the pool being closed that was upsetting especially since we had kids with us. I put we had 2 adults and 2 kids there was only enough towels in there for 2 people, only I plate ,1 bowel , and 1 fork. Thank goodness we ate out the hole time we was there.

Disgusting and Disappointed
The room was horrible! There was dirt and hair Everywhere!!! This room was NOT cleaned before we arrived. I question if the sheets were cleaned or just straightened out from the previous tenants. I ended up bringing my own sheets and blankets because I arrived a day later than my husband. The latch lock wasn’t secured to the door to lock effectively, the tv didn’t work and we had cold water for showers. We asked for maintenance to come out and was told they would but nothing was fixed. I asked to speak to management but there was none available until after we checked out. I know this facility is “under renovation” and they’re trying to make it look more modern, but slapping lipstick on a pig doesn’t make it any cleaner or prettier. Also I booked my reservation online through Hotels.com and there was nothing that told us we would have to pay an additional security deposit upon arrival or we couldn’t stay there. We had to pay $50 because of where we traveled from and was told it could’ve been as high as $200 depending on our license and address. We will never stay here again.

The front desk person was super kind and accommodating. But the room we were given was NOT good. It smelled horribly like smoke. The sheets were definitely not clean and had stains on them. And there were little dead bugs. We left and did not sleep there.
