Great eco lodge

Posted Feb 13, 2017
Pros: Eco lodge in fabulous settig
Cons: Provide tell glasses for a long drink!
Location: Great walks if not too hot. Scenic drives. Interesting gorges 4WD excursion.
Lovely lodge but should be for the price. The pool was a real bonus in the heat. Staff were friendly. Asked for 2tall glasses but they were not forthcoming.. Didn't seem a lot to ask! Adapted 4WD excursion because of the heat was sensible and the guide made it interesting (gorges geology) but the landcruiser was old model and rather uncomfortable without effective air con in the back.

Outstanding choice.

We expected that this would be an acceptable lodging option but were thrilled when we arrived here for our visit to Flinders Ranges. This is like a well operated hotel in the outback. The unit had good space, a functioning kitchen area in a great nature setting. Bedding and towels were better than you'd expect... especially for the affordable rates of Rawnsley Park. It's also a great location, close to major sights and trails.

Great 1 night stop.

Posted Nov 20, 2016
Pros: Close to the Park and an excellent restaurant.
We only stayed 1 night. 3 guys so we had a bedroom each and the price was excellent. Expedia was by far the cheapest. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Large open living area and an awesome deck to view Rawnsley's Bluff. A great stop.

Excellent value

Posted Nov 16, 2016
Pros: Comfortable,modern, environmentally friendly,excellent value.
Cons: Shaded area for cars
Location: Near Arid Lands Botanic Gardens. Near Standpipe Restaurant;great Indian food.
Beautifully designed ecomotel. Extremely comfortable bed, spacious, spotlessly clean, modern and a very helpful owner with a sense of humour. Don't be put off. by proximity to highway. Thick mud brick walls keep out noise and heat. Has microwave and kitchen facilities. Small private deck to sit on out back.
