Perfect family holiday base
Short stay to see family in the area. Lovely couple running the facility and perfect for the family to use as a base for what was a great weekend. Very well equipped and comfortable.

Owners were very nice and helpful. The cabin is great for families or close friends. Stayed with my toddler and mother in law. Very comfortable and child friendly. Had lots of toys for my daughter. Very clean, well stocked kitchen for breakfast. Very nice garden for kids to play in or to sit out.

Motel Style
Well equipped ensuite units, self help continental breakfast. Fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, kitchen sink. Ideal for self catering, but there is a village pub less than a minute's walk away. Peaceful location with garden, very close to Salisbury. Helpful and welcoming owners. Need to be mobile enough to cope with steps up to the property. Otherwise, excellent.

Our weekend Away in Salisbury
The room was very compact - with Double bed - dropleaf table, wardrobe, chair, tv and wardrobe with 2 folded chars down the side. Kitchenette with sink, microwave, toaster, mini fridge and cupboards. Advertised as a B&B but 'continental breakfast' was made up of the supplies in the kitchenette. Bed was ok but pine bed frame creaked. Bathroom had toilet / little basin and power shower - perfectly usable, but there was NO hairdryer supplied - something I expect in a B&B as have never been to one without! Parking was in the Yew Tree pub car park opposite the property, and the pub was very good with good food (need to book)

We were greeted warmly by Geoff. The room was quite small, but adequate for a one night stay. We found the bed comfortable. We were pleased that Geoff and Carol had provided for my dietary needs. It was very pleasant to sit in the pretty garden and read with a cup of tea. The pub next door is great.

The place was just right for us five travelers. Plenty of room. Having the food for breakfast readily available was a bonus. The WiFi worked well. The recommended pub next door had great food and a pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend this place.

Quiet B&B outside of Salisbury
This was a very nice, clean B&B. It was a bit off the beaten track, but GPS helped us find it. The room was a bit small, but adequate. Kitchenette had all we needed. We were provided with food for basic breakfast (cereal, milk, juice, bread, jam, coffee and tea) which was replaced daily. Our hosts were very nice and helpful with local information about food choices (the pub next door had good food and was filled with locals). Down the road was the Radner Arms pub which also had good food and service. There was a pretty garden outside our door. It was very quiet there and we were able to sleep without any problems.

This B & B was booked, so I could visit my husband in New Hall Hospital, near Salisbury. This worked out very well, and an ideal location to get to and from the hospital..

Highly recommend!!
Our family of five, traveling from the United States, stayed here for one night. We loved it! The cabin was beautiful, and very comfortable. The air conditioning was especially nice, since it was very hot outside that day! The owners were very friendly and accommodating as well. I would definitely come back here again. We loved it! Highly recommend it! Also, the pub next-door was fabulous! Great food and great atmosphere !

Nice cabin. Lots of room.
Cabin was very well appointed. Despite very hot weather, the cabin was cooled down quickly thanks to the air conditioning units provided.

South of Salisbury
My biggest problem with the hotel is the location....very hard to find. Perhaps if you emailed the owner ahead of time for very specific directions it would be fine. The road the B and B is on is not marked, and the B n B sign is so small. If the neighboring inn had been open when we de ided we needed to ask, we would have simply been directed next door. We stopped yo ask a jogger on the road who was directing us to a place miles away when he offered to call them for us. It turned out we just needed to turn around and go back a quarter mile. If you have a phone or GPS you would be fine.

The self-catering breakfast option suited me well, and the location is convenient for good pub food for evening meals. My only quibble was the lack of a rail for bath towels in the particular room I was in, but that minor niggle was offset by the location and comfort.

Good place but needs a few tweaks.
Comfortable chalet, warm and well equipped. The downside was the shower room, which was poorly equipped. It was difficult to get the water to the correct temperature and there was no shelf or container for soap, shower gel etc. The shower room needs a towel rail as there was nowhere to hang wet towels and the shelf above the tiny basin makes it impossible to wash your face without banging your head on it. Also complimentary shower gel would have been welcome. With these small improvements the B and B would have rated higher.

Quiet, clean, comfortable, and private with a great pub just steps down the road. Loved the separate cabins. Very close to Salisbury City Centre, but countryside feel. Definitely would go back.

B & B for the DIY traveller
We used this B & B as a journey break and it was adequate for what we required. We thought the description "B & B" was misleading. The accommodation was set out as self- catering chalet units. The en-suite was a bit cramped. There was no cooked breakfast and we were provided with a fridge, toaster and microwave to cook our own meals if we had the ingredients. There was a selection of cereals, milk,butter, jams, spreads and bread for toast. Orange juice was also provided in the fridge.

Nice cabin for family of five.
A nice cabin for a night or two maximum. Plenty of space for a family of five. Bathroom and toilets clean. Kitchen area is nice a tidy. Unfortunately, a lot of dust on the soft toys and the carpets, not great for dust allergies and leading to dust mites bites. The cabin is really big which certainly explains the difficulty to clean all the spider webs between customers. However, overall, staying for one or two nights is fine for a family of five.

Convenient and quiet
These little villas/cabins are such a great idea when travelling, they are ground floor so ideal if you have large bags (not that you can really open them up once you get in) and want a self contained unit with a vast array of breakfast items to eat at you leisure. It was spotless inside and the small space was well used. The shower was a massive issue, no matter what setting it usually goes freezing cold to boiling hot and back every 30 seconds, there are no instructions and the owners only told us on checkout to use the eco mode, a sign would have been better and saved a lot of swearing and frustration and a few near misses. The pub next door has some great characters and you can use their car park.

Very clean and well-equipped room. There are some flying insects (eg. Daddy long legs) however it is acceptable as the hotel is located in the countryside. The host is really nice!

Good facilities in separate annexe with bread and milk supplied however bed was not comfortable and the smallest TV ever was positioned as far away from the bed as possible. One annoying thing was the complementary parking turned out to be in the pub car park next door - not ideal.
