Posted Jan 31, 2017
Pros: Prices
Cons: Less stripes and some redecorating in places,
Location: Shopping outlet Cinema Ten pin Bowling
Stayed here for a couple of nights. Comfortable but everything starting to look a little worn. Good value. Breakfast really nice and the Italian restaurant where breakfast is served is a lovely environment. Whole thing was good value.

Ûtotally relaxing! with maximum comfort.

Posted Jan 22, 2017
Pros: Virtually everything.
Cons: Really unable to think of anything.
Location: We had engagements in Chipping Sodbury, Kidlington and Didcot and found it very well placed.
We found the hotel in an excellent position, near both the motorway and access to Swindon. The room was also very comfortable with a good range of food available.

Nice hotel but with some "but"

Posted Dec 28, 2016
The room was comfortable and cozy big tv and coffee machine. All was in good condition. On the negative side the room was not clean when i enterend and the towels were dirty. The soap bottles were drained the first three days and there was a limited hours that the radiators were working making the room at some points very cold. It could be a great hotel otherwise

Noisy as Christmas party time. Pool disappointing much smaller than pictures show and full of children having lessons.

Great if you just want a bed

Posted Nov 8, 2016
Location: Location good, close enough to M4 on a Leisure Complex so good area for entertainment or food. It is a drive from the Town center or Designer Outlet
Disappointed with the Village Hotel Swindon, its tired with dirty carpets in communal areas. Price I paid did not include the Gym and Swimming Pool which was the ONLY reason for booking it. Very few staff available, and expecting a friendly face at check-in was surprised that it was a DIY exercise. However the rooms were a very good size and had usual facilities including a sofa bed. Would not recommend this hotel or stay there again though!! Normally only stay in a De Vere so will stick with what is best for me.

Perfect for a family or a party

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Pros: Swimming pool and spa all child friendly. Changing rooms were clean and spacious.
Cons: Marmite condiment at breakfast
Location: There is ice skating just across the road. A cinema and bowling across the car park along with a few other places to eat.
Large room. Quiet. Everything you need is either within the complex or a very short walk from it.

Convenient

All was well. Would not dine there again. Pre-cooked sliced chicken with a generic based pasta sauce was a disappointment. Staff friendly.

Great short break with kids

Posted Oct 31, 2016
Pros: Spa treatments and Village Pub food - along with great staff service in both!
Cons: Wet leisure facilities - abit dirty and need some TLC.
Location: Great - only about 3 miles from M4 (Swindon West junction), gave easy access to Bath (45 mins), and it only took us 2 hrs from London to there.
This complex has something for everyone. It has 2 good eateries, a Starbucks, a leisure club with pool, gym, classes and sauna/steam, a spa treatment retreat, and is a short walk from bowling, cinema, loads of restaurants. The family room was great- big and modern. The service was very friendly and the quality of food was good - although the full buffet breakfast could be abit varied we thought. We would go back - they need to deep clean the wet leisure facilities really but that was about the only negative! We also could easily drive to Bath, Cirencester, Swindon Designer Outlet and the Cotswolds Water Park - all between 20-45 mins away.

BUSY PLACE WITH HELPFUL STAFF.

Posted Oct 31, 2016
Pros: Staff, Breakfast reasonable.
Cons: bread could be better.
Location: Good for access to town and some excellent walking and biking routes.
Stayed here one night on a weekend in october 2016. The place was obviously pretty full but at all times I found staff - even under pressure - unfailingly helpful and pleasant. Facilities are what would expect of a modern hotel of this quality.
