Modern hotel but not clean, needs upgrades

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Stained carpets should be changed,level of cleanliness should be improved , lobby area should be up graded
Location: Convenient
Level of cleanliness was poor carpet in room and hallways was dirty ,lobby area needs upgrades with decent flooring rather than concrete ,elevators were dirty.

Our First Stay At Aloft

Pros: Pet friendly. Clean and modern.
While traveling with two small dogs we had the good fortune of finding the Aloft property in Winchester, VA. We found the price to be of excellent value, the rooms clean and modern, and because it was pet friendly with no additional charges, we will be sure to look for an Aloft property 1st whenever traveling again.

A Fun Hotel

This is a nice hotel with a modern decor. The rooms were rather small but had all the amenities we needed. We found the carpets stained and needed to be vacumed better but the rest of the room was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff could not have been nicer or more accomodating. It's a fun place to stay.

It was nice just rude clerks but the bartenders was great. The cost is outrageous and the hold placed on the card is ridiculous if already paying with a debit card

Ok hotel in a pinch

Pros: The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: MANAGEMENT!! No room should be assigned unless that room is clean and complete. If you say a room includes items, those items should be there!
Location: It was conveniently located off I-81 in Winchester, Virginia. Easy to get to, but tricky getting to shopping and dining without a GPS.
Comfortable beds, but that was about it. Our room had no iron. When I asked for one, I didn't get one. There was also no hair dryer. Again, I never got one. When a guest calls the front desk asking for an item that's missing from the room, that item should be sent up right away. I was given directions on how to find them! The shower needed instructions to turn on!! Then to make matters worse, housekeeping banged on my door at 8:45ish in the morning and tried to get in to clean. Checkout was noon. Apparently, they had been told we left. Unbelievably unprofessional. There should also be a manager on duty at all times. I shouldn't have to wait until Monday to talk to a manager. This was our first and last time staying at an Aloft hotel!

Wanted to try a new name

Pros: Spa shampoos and soaps bright great flow. super clean and hip. good music in lobby and loved salt water pool! Loved big screen tv ..easy to get to
Cons: Hmmm, well softer toilet paper, and option to purchase those cool clocks you use in the rooms!!
Location: lots of restaurant choices, we were headed to DC so we did not participate in local activities.
This is a hip new hotel designed for the millenia gen. Clean simple not too big and all the amenities. Clean salt water pool, great brand new work out equiptment, video games for kids in the lobby, fast elevators that announce the floors. Rooms were nice tall 16 foot ceilings, sleek streamlines, big screeen tv. spa shampoo and soaps, fresh clean crisp linens . lighting all led. If i had one complaint it mightbe the spped of the internet. a little choppy at times. breakie was grab pay and go ..NOT outrageous in price and everything was recyclable once consumed. Front desk cheerful and staff helped with bags and smiles These people LIKE workin here!! Definitely come back.. All restaurants nearby too.

Getting a little work but still cool.

There were 2 holes in the walls, one the size of the doorknob, and the door didn't shut from the outside unless you used the key to release the lock mechanism. The AC didn't get very cold. But it was comfy and convenient and clean.

Great stop for the night

Pros: Modern decor, location near Interstate ramps and gas station.
Cons: Attitude of staff
Location: It's not pretty but you can get gas next door and quick meals close by. This is a great stopping point but I wouldn't spend a vacation staying there.
This hotel is right off Interstate 81 and easy to find. The rooms are modern, clean and fairly new. I've stayed there twice and the front desk staff was much friendlier the first time. This second time was disappointing - the guy at the desk may as well have had a 'I'M BORED' sign flashing over his head.

Just overnight stay as we traveled NY to NC. All was fine. Clerk at check in, although efficient, seemed like we were interrupting her by trying to check in. Was not very friendly and kind of poor greeter.
