Although an older property, this hotel was very clean and well kept. Maid service worked all day cleaning rooms and there were ground keepers on the property doing spring clean up and mulching. Front desk staff was very pleasant. There is a large grassy area for pottying dogs. My only complaint was there was a dog in room 105 while I was there that barked non-stop for well over 3 hours. I was several rooms down the hall and it was very annoying, even with the TV on. I'm sure they could hear it at the desk and got complaints about it. I don't think it should have been allowed to continue that long. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs and was, in fact, traveling with my own dog for a show but I would never allow my dog to carry on non-stop like that. There were a lot of dogs at the hotel that weekend and this dog carrying on was making other dogs bark but nothing to the extent that it was.

We appreciate your feedback. I would like to apologize for the dog barking as long as it did. We tried to contact the owner, who left the dog unattended which we ask guests not to do. It took a while for the owner to get back to the property. I am so sorry about that. We hope that you will give us another chance in the future. Thank you for staying with us.

Gentleman checking us in could see my mom’s difficulty walking and gave us a very convenient entrance and room. He also helped us with directions. Very nice!!!

Quality Inn Winchester (north)
Very clean and well-maintained. Room was very clean, bed wasn’t quite as comfortable as I’d like (woke up with a backache), but that could be from a strange bed. The bathroom was particularly nice, with a marble shower surround which was extremely well-done. Staff members were quite friendly and helpful, especially at the breakfast room. Breakfast was great, even had biscuits and gravy. Overall, we’re very pleased with this motel and highly recommend it, especially at its very reasonable price. It’s as good or better than most of the higher -dollar hotels we’ve stayed in.

Friendly staff
Staff was friendly and helpful. The phone in my room didn’t work. I just needed it to call the front desk. Staff came and tried to fix it. Room was fine otherwise.

Very nice overnight stay!
Not the most modern hotel, but very clean and everything worked. Front desk, both evening and morning, were helpful and friendly. Cont breakfast better than expected, and if we wanted more, a door in the lobby leads to adjacent Dennys restaurant.

Jordan made our check-in experience so incredibly pleasant! This is by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in at this price point. Real breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and more. Very clean, and the nicest staff. Super convenient right off the highway, but our room was quiet with no noise from the interstate! Highly recommend for those passing through on a long drive.

The only thing we didn't like was the at first confusing way to enter the property. Once you go in, you know and it's fine.
