Quick Stay While Traveling

Our Family stayed at this hotel as a one-night layover during our holiday trip. It is exactly halfway between our home in NC and my parent’s home in NY. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the price was reasonable. They were in the middle of a surface level renovation while we were there. You could still smell fresh paint in the hallways, which didn’t bother us and was a sign to us that they are working to keep the hotel in good condition. The room was clean, updated, and comfortable. My only critique would be that although it looks like they recently renovated the rooms and bathrooms, but did a lipstick job. They repainted, but rushed it and cut corners. It looks decent at a distance, but not so much up close, and the fixtures are clearly aging (ac unit, tub fixtures, etc...). Not a big deal and doesn’t effect the comfort of your stay specifically, just mentioning. For the price though, it’s hard to beat. This was the second time we stayed here and will consider it again on our next trip.

Cons: Be more explicit that there is a pet charge when booking.
I booked a pet friendly room because we are travelling with our 2 small dogs. When we got there we were charged an extra $20 per dog which seemed excessive.

Nice place close to highway great price

Spent some time comparing hotels before booking and this seemed like it would be pretty good...FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! Nicest place we have ever stayed in, and fantastic FREE HOT breakfast buffet!

Ok but

All was great except they did not allow me to park my 25'RV in the hotel parking area even though there was a extended cab pick up with a 20'RV trailer parked in the hotel lot..had to park in the lot across the street from hotel, also was asked to leave the breakfast area because of our service dog. I would stay there again but hopefully their parking policy and service dog policy for all types of service dogs. Both my wife and I use the dog, she has Dementia and I have war wounds & PTSD...

Thank you for sharing your experience. We do ask that our large trucks, trailers and motor homes park within the outer perimeter of our parking lot. Unfortunately there are times when guests are not as respectful and take multiple spots in the parking lot. We are sorry that was the case on the night of your visit and appreciate that you were respectful of other guests. The ADA is very specific about service animals and when it comes to the health department they are also very specific about the animals that are allowed in a public dining facility. Unfortunately if a service animal is not a qualified ADA service animal they are not permitted in the dining room. Plan to Stay Again

Very surprised how clean for a motel that accommodates dogs. Con isn't to restaurants and exit. Breakfast was also better than expected

Great place for overnight stay

Choose this hotel on our way to Pinehurst NC. The hotel staff are very friendly and the rooms are spacious. Hotel is close to restaurants and it is easy to access the interstate from there. The hotel is undergoing renovations but that did not interfere with our stay.

This hotel is a nice location and to stay with a dog^^ All staffs are kind .... and welcome cookies are delicious. Breakfast was not too good.... but it was okay.
