“The hotel facilities, the dining, the staff were all absolutely fine.
The room, however, was on 2 levels with even a step down on entry. Awkward.
It was situated at the front of the building over some sort of service room with a generator or boiler that emitted a constant drone all through the night. Occasionally it would cut out only to re-start a short while later. As a result we had very little sleep.
The noise could be heard outside the building as well; and of course it carries more at……
