Not a good place. Almost Creepy.Posted Nov 6, 2015
Worst breakfast ever...it was a joke. Juice was sour...coffee watered down. We opted for McDonald's across the street. Figured it would be safer.

Could be a nice property but needs a lot of workPosted Oct 21, 2015
Hotel is in the process of upgrading its facilities. They are trying hard to make comfortable. Building maintenance and upgrades required. Spa currently being improved but still a long way to go.

Not great, not bad.Posted Oct 14, 2015
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Needs sprucing up and better mattresses.
Location: Convenient to interstate.
Ok for a one night stay. Could not get door unlocked. Staff responded quickly. Room was very spacious, but the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. Could hear every footstep from the room above, but location was quiet. Odd property, with buildings hidden back behind other structures. Probably would not go back.

Overnight stop on a trip up NorthPosted Oct 12, 2015
Our room was dirty, dated and tatty, the toilet wasn't attached to the floor and the towels were small and unabsorbant. The continental breakfast was very basic but at least it was included in the price. Did I mention it was overpriced by about 50%...

Budget hotel with upscale pricesPosted Oct 11, 2015
Hotel seemed back on its heels, a little run down. The room was however large and clean and the bed was comfortable. Cheesy towels and soap dispensers. Avoid the continental breakfast. The staff was really pushing the on premise restaurant-pub. The staff was otherwise courteous and helpful.

Pros: The rooms are set back from the road so it is quiet. The restaurant and bar are great. It's a great location, close to many scenic routes.
Cons: Towels and linens were a bit scratchy.
Great location, spacious room. Disappointed that we didn't get to use the pool or spa. The tavern looked lovely. Staff friendly.

older hotel making a comebackPosted Sep 29, 2015
we had a fresh room in an older facility. by fresh i mean fresh paint and some newer tile in the bathroom. the owners are trying to renovate as they can and exhibit good hospitality. the salt water pool is a tremendous amenity. a good place to spend the night while in the brattleboro area. facility was priced about right compared to other locations in town. we took the bargain rate which put us in the older building. might be worth the upcharge to get in the newer building. i recommend the in town organic cafe and food co op for healthy eating. also a nice farmers market on saturdays. also look up the Tasha Tudor museum.

Don't judge this book by its cover!Posted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: Comfort and amenities inside the room
Cons: The exterior needs a lot of work, but it looks like they are working on it.
The hotel photo is not a good representation of what you see when you arrive. No curb appeal, but the rooms are very nice and comfortable.
