Great Alternative

Pros: Clean and inexpensive. Nice safe location. Great value.
Cons: Sheets. Everything was clean but the sheets are very uncomfortable. A higher quality sheet would make a world of difference.
Location: There is nothing notable near by. Having a printed map of the location might be a good idea. Cabs have a hard time finding the place
Instead of booking the Hilton for $200+ USD I got a great rate on this location. Good breakfast. Nice folks.

Nice stay in Windhoek

Our last night in Namibia was spent at Villa Moringa. We had a fairly small room (chosen by us - there are larger rooms) but the lounges, pools, and other areas of the guesthouse were lovely and available to spend free time in. The guesthouse was within walking distance of a street with many restaurants. The morning breakfast was complete with meats, cheeses, eggs (cooked to order), pastries, yogurt, fresh fruits and a cake. The entrance for vehicles was a bit tight and we met our cab at the street access just to save him a bit of a long back-up.

A little that is much in Klein Windhoek

A restful spot, with a perfectly situated terrace dining area for overlooking the rolling residential area of Klein Windhoek. Lots of bird life in the surrounding trees to enjoy over lingering coffee.

Clean and great place to stay

The place is a great stay and will definitely see me again. Only negative is the small size for parking due to the mountainous landscape. Breakfast is outstanding and the room really wonderful. I think it is really all the stars worth

Better than expected! Really a quiet, safe, clean and lovely guesthouse. It is really much nicer than you would expect.

Pros: Excellent service.
Cons: We didn't always have hot water.
Location: Take a taxi to visit the center.
Nice place. Breakfast OK. Excellent service and information.

Very nice guesthouse

Great Staff, friendly and extremely helpful, very clean and spacious rooms, perfect breakfast bufet with choice of eggs served by the Chef, residential neighborhood, made me feel very safe. I'll give it Five Stars and a big thank you, I'll be back for sure!

Room was beautyful and tastefully. The breakfast and the unkindly Boss was not my thing. The Girl at the reception was very kindly and helpful.

Will not be back

The staff, their service and attention to detail in general was terrible. The guest house is conveniently situated and rooms comfortable and neat. Unfortunately the staff lacks enthusiasm and some personality. Not once during a five day stay did any staff member greet or ask if we required anything and if we were still enjoying our stay. Not once were we greeted by any of the staff. The only person who interacted was the lady taking our breakfast order (no change in any options during a five day stay). After a jog I was not even able to get ice for some cold water in a hot Windhoek. Even upon departure the keys were merely collected not wishing us a good trip or even saying goodbye. There is nothing wrong with the rooms or the buildings but staff attitudes needs serious attention. What a let-down!
