OK hotel if nothing else is available

the rooms are run down. the blankets seemed dirty. there is that funny thrift store odor in the room. i went there but decided not to stay. the front desk was very helpful and refunded my booking in full. they mentioned that the hotel is going to be renovated in near future.

Trust is EVERYTHING

I inadvertently left pants and a special shirt hanging in the closet. Less than 12 hours later, when I realized what had happened, my spouse was in contact with the hotel. There was no record of them in the room. I emailed the manager when I got home and RECEIVED NO RESPONSE! It doesn't matter that the room was clean and nicely appointed, or that the front desk staff were knowledgeable and helpful. If you can't trust the room staff to protect your belongings, it is not safe to stay there. The FIRST duty of room cleaners is to check that nothing was left and to report and store anything left, for their own protection if not for the care of the guests! When I left the hotel, I was happy at the thought of a good place to stay again. After the treatment I received in relation to my left items, I cannot imagine ever staying there again. It's very sad!

Convenient for events at Caesars Windsor

Room was larger than we expected, clean, updated, staff was helpful and friendly. Wide selection of items for breakfast. Parking was convenient. We would stay here again for events at Caesars Windsor as it was a close walk.

Outdated but good value

It was fine. Wanted to go to the casino but not pay 260 a night. You get what you pay for. It's safe and pretty clean, very outdated, bed had one side really dented, like someone slept in the same spot for 50 years. For the price, it works. Free breakfast was a nice plus, eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, etc. area is a neighborhood, it was kind of odd, i walked to and from the casino, but a cab would be fine if you were nervous, cab was 7 dollars the one time I took it.

Our room was not very clean when we arrived. The night stand was covered in crumbs, there was a plastic wrapper from a bar of soap on the floor. We booked forgot two nights and received a call after the first night from the front desk asking us if we would be checking out. The computer system had us in a differently room. The location was fanastic to go to a game at Joe Louis Arena. The breakfast was ok, what you would expect.

Place is under construction and need upgrades but staff was very good conditions water and plumbing need upgrades
