best hot tub I have ever seen

Posted Apr 2, 2017
Pros: hot tub and pool -- also great breakfast
Cons: nothing
Location: close to border, cheaper than across it. Not much to do but sleeping is good.
Good hotel, good service .....................................................

The salt pool great. Limited eating space bad

Posted Mar 20, 2017
We stayed one night and everything was good. Overall a bit expensive for a standard stay hut at least it was a solid standard stay. Clean. Not too noisy considering it was st Patrick's day. My family enjoyed the salt pool. The breakfast was perfectly fine. Standard but tasty. But with such a small number of eating space and with such a large lounge many of us has to stand and eat. Lounge is nice but you have to figure out a way to swap in a lot more tables and chair for the breakfast rush.

Great Hotel and amenities

Posted Mar 18, 2017
Pros: Comfortable, clean room and facilities...well maintained and close to the border....
Cons: Really can't think of anything ...
Location: A number of restaurants within a two block radius..
After a long drive north from the southern U.S. We crossed the border and checked into the Hampton Inn...we were greeted immediately by the front desk staff who quickly processed our checkin..most appreciated after our long drive.....our room was clean with a comfortable king size bed....also a sofa bed was included in our room....bathroom was clean with plenty of towels ....hotel offered a very nice breakfast with lots of choices including fresh fruit, eggs and cereals...we didn't use the indoor pool or gym but both looked like well maintained..oh, and free coffee and cookies were availble at night in the lobby...

The staff at the Hampton Inn in Windsor is always hospitable and attentive to our needs. They helped make our honeymoon special and memorable. We highly recommend booking for your next visit to Windsor.

Pool was amazing right temperature for little ones. Hotel lobby was modern, rooms a little dated but clean.

Noisy room

Lots of silver fish in bathtub .. coming in from piping. Room faced main highway to border, transport trucks traveling all night ...hard to sleep.

Room felt very cold when heat isn't running. Need to turn temperature up with fan on High to heat up room, when the heat kicked started, the Cold air blew out initially. After a little while, it made the room so hot and dry. Even I had the PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB sign ON while I was away from room, we suspected someone went inside the room. We remembered that our TV was ON 'Weather' channel when we left for breakfast. By the time we returned, the TV channels switched to the hotel movie On Demand one. We tested the remote & left TV ON all the time, TV channel wouldn't change by itself but MUST BE MANUALLY to do so. So, WHO changed the channel. We didn't lose anything, we didn't let the hotel know. The day that we checked out, we were a bit late. We had the PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door with TV on inside, the housekeeper kept knocked on our door. I answered. She was startled and excused that "so sorry. They told me that you were out". We wondered what was she trying to do? By speaking to friends who stayed there previously, they shared the same experience. Now, they don't stay there anymore.

The hotel was close to our relatives

Posted Dec 24, 2016
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great to go to the lobby and have a coffee and breakfast.
Cons: I expected a small fridge in our room. We managed without ,however it would have been more convenient to have it - we were traveling with an infant.
Location: The location was okay. It was close to relatives.
Our experience was over all good. The check in and check out was very quick and we were able to extend our check out until noon. It gave us more time to organize ourselves and the baby. The hotel was very busy with visiting sports teams, but everything went smoothly.
