Family stay close to the border!

I have NO complaints about our stay, the hotel was just what we wanted and needed. Our room was HUGE, we need lots of space for other family members meeting us, we are st the hotel restaurant and it was great. The food and prices were similar to The Keg. We had our American family stay with us and we all enjoyed the pools, much nicer than we expected or have seen in any other of our hotel stays. I would recommend this

Convenient location with free parking close to enterance. Stayed New Year's Eve and our floor was quiet!

Overall, great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant, Grill 55, was a nice place to get drinks before a night out!

The Hotel was very Nice, Free Breakfast NOT?

Pros: The Hotel was very nice. Clean the beds were excellent.. nice idea to have different types of pillow.
Cons: Free Breakfast policy
Location: Excellent location, near to the bridge and shopping
The Hotel was very nice. I would stay again and recommend it to my friends. However I found one thing a bit frustrating. I booked the room for four people, right? No problem.... So you would expect that, the free breakfast is for all four people , RIGHT? Wrong.... the hotel staff say no. Only two of those guest get a free breakfast the other two have to pay. I really think this hotel has to re think this policy.

Nice Pool Experience for the Kids

The hotel was fine, no real complaints, except for the cost. This may be more of an issue with The Expedia interface than it is with the hotel. When I first searched for hotels I put in the number of persons as four and I had a nice room picked out. Then Grandma decided to join us. WHen I added the fifth person that room was no longer available saying that we were now exceeding the number of people allowed for the room and we needed to choose another room for $50 more. I was OK paying the extra for a better room. I thought it might even be a suite the way it was described. When we got there they put us in the same room that I was looking at before adding the extra $50, so that kind of put a sour spin on the whole experience. If it is an additional person fee let's call it that and let me search other options based on extra person policies rather then do the bait and switch.

good location in downtown windsor

Cons: Maybe that the hotel chain could have a ''courtesy guide'' printed and make it available to its younger customers - we can not rely on their parents
Almost everything was fine - the staff was very good and welcoming - we had a somewhat bar surprise bacause there were many kids in the hotel for the week-end (hockey tournament, or something like that) - unfortunately, the parents did not think important to show the kids was a ''proper behavior'' was in a hotel (i.e. rush into elevators, cutting in front of already waiting clients, leaving luggage carts on floors overnight) - Don't blame the kids, but the parents - It certainly was not the hotel staff's fault if basic courtesy was out the window, that week-end. - We will return to this hotel . . . after making sure that there is no hockey tournament!!!

Our first visit to this hotel. Will return again. Checking in was very quick, rooms were comfortable and clean. Quiet neighbourhood. The hotel restaurant had good food and great service.
