Nice hotel, nice staff, nice location.

Posted Jul 17, 2017
Pros: Clean. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the Casino at 1/3 the price. Walking distance to our favorite Mexican restaurant.
Cons: Sausage replaced with bacon.
Location: Casino and restaurants are nearby.
The breakfast is great but the excellent sausage patties should be replaced with bacon. I really like bacon.

Avoid this place

Posted Jul 8, 2017
Pros: Free parking, passable basic breakfast
Cons: Guests who party and don't allow anybody else to sleep should be thrown out. No excuse for bed bugs.
Location: Close to waterfront and casino but it is a run down area right next to the tunnel to Detroit.
Located in a shabby area of the town, sketchy looking motel. It was impossible to sleep because of a crazy party next door, I had to complain 3 times to the front desk before they finally shut them down. Worst of all, found a bed bug crawling through my sheets, disgusting. I don't typically stay in such basic hotels, but this time decided to try since it was just one night. Terible mistake, never again.

Clean, comfortable, walking distance to Ceasar's

Posted Jun 28, 2017
Pros: Comfortable, clean, affordable!
Cons: Coffee at breakfast tasted like there was cleaner in it.
Location: Great location! Within walking distance to terrific restaurants, Caesar's and the riverfront.
This hotel is terrific! Clean, comfortable, staff are super friendly and helpful! The only complaint was the coffee at breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great location near the river with free parking.

Love the location and how close all the restaurants and banks as well store shops were very close to the hotel. Very relaxing and safe the area is located. The staff were excellent with the service with accommodation. The only thing I would recommend is having a bigger place for breakfast. We went to the area serving the breakfast and it was over crowded and too many people were touching the food. Me and my partner passed on the free breakfest after witnessing the mass crowd of people. Otherwise an amazing experience all together. I definately would book the hotel next time around.

Nice, Clean Hotel.

Posted May 15, 2017
Pros: clean room
Cons: Make the underground parking lot secure. As it is now it is open for anyone to walk in and badly lit. Felt my car was safer above ground.
Location: central, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Stayed here while in the city for business. Located close to the main strip for bars and restaurants, clean and simple room, quiet, nice friendly staff. Parking. I have no complaints about this hotel.

Nothing fancy, but fine for the weekend

Posted May 9, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff, breakfast, free wifi and parking, beds were clean and comfortable.
Cons: The parking needs to be more clearly marked, it was confusing. More care at check-in would have resolved our other issues.
Location: Immediate vicinity is a little sketchy, but very close (walking) to waterfront, Caesars, breweries and short trip to other trendy spots.
Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it totally met our needs for the weekend. Came to Windsor for a running race, and it had comfortable bed, clean bathroom, mini fridge and breakfast. Close to downtown, Caesars, etc. and Walkerville was a short ride away. Had some issues with the check-in: it was pretty hectic at the desk, which is understandable. But in the rush, there was an issue with both the wifi and the keys. I will say that the staff was very helpful when we called about those problems, and were sure to ask if we needed anything more. If you're looking for a luxury vacation, this probably isn't for you. But if you need a clean bed and a shower, this is more than suitable (One last thing. If you're a solo traveler, or a little on the nervous side, you might consider calling ahead for a second or third floor room, just for peace of mind).

Poor quality clientele

Posted Apr 16, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel & room was clean & the staff was very pleasant but the clientele was less then desirable. We were kept up until past 3:30am because of drunken teens running up and down & yelling through the hallways. Cheap prices for cheap clientele

I am very sorry to hear you were kept up past 3:30am due to other loud guests in the hallways, that should not have happened. We do have American travelers that come here and there for Windsor's nightlife and sometimes they can get a bit noisy. In the future please call the front desk anytime you get disrupted and we are here to fix the situation right away and would love nothing more than to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I do hope that you return, we would love to have you again! See you soon! Jenn Wyatt, Front Office Manager
