“Outstanding, warm, friendly staff from all aspects associated with the hotel. From check-n where you are warmly welcomed it is absolutely clear that the staff appreciates your staying at this hotel and do everything they can to ensure you feel welcomed and your needs are met. Breakfast is simple but more than sufficient and of quality with the breakfast manager actively making sure you get everything you need for your breakfast. Housekeeping and grounds crew members are also very welcoming……

“The cleanliness could have been better..we had to ask for new sheets and pillow cases..as someone that is a manager for janitorial business, I would have hoped it would have been more than it was! We had to change our own bed bc there was no staff to do it. Then I noticed the cleaner in the morning was using the same mop water in every room..I get being short staffed but managing comes first so that’s where it starts!! Do better..”

“This was the worst Marriott property I have stayed at. If you stay there don't accept staying in room 108. I was next to the kitchen where they prepare the free brunch. I heard banging on the next room off and on from about 7-8:30 AM. Also, people who I assume were staff were talking right outside my door early in the morning. I was in a rush to get ready to go out and meet friends for dinner and as I went to get ready and take a shower I discovered that I did not have any towels. There were……

“The staff was accommodating and worked to get me a ground-floor room. I made a mistake when booking the room and accidentally selected a smoking room. There was only one non-smoking room left on the ground floor, and it was an upgrade. The staff worked with me on the price so that I could get that room. The room and property were clean. There was ample parking. Only a short drive to downtown Aiken with its shops and restaurants.”
