A jewel!Posted Feb 10, 2015
Location: Wingham has limited dining options if the Bank's restaurant is not open in the evening, but nearby Taree has more.
Really pleasant and comfortable. Super breakfast.

A charming & impecable experience!!!!Posted Jan 13, 2015 on Hotels
Our holidays were comming to an end, we were driving back home to Queensland & decided to slow down & enjoy the trip home, so we looked for overnight accommodation. We had no trouble finding a location with bookings.com, they made this so trouble free for us. We found the Bank Guest House & immediately received a very welcome & friendly introduction to finding & accessing the premises. We were delighted when we entered our Little private cottage, it was immaculate. Dawn the manager had left kindly the air conditioning on for us, as it was an extremely humid day. We had a very restful night & a fabulous breakfast. Dawn was such a friendly & personable manager, nothing was a problem to her. What a wonderful find - we travel up & down from Qld to Sydney various times per year & we can't wait to return to the Bank Guest House!!!

A cozy and quite B&B in an historical buildingPosted Jan 9, 2015 on Hotels
This little B&B is hosted in one of the historical building of Wingham, the old bank. The room is clean and tidy, and it's clear that the owner took care of every single detail to make the room cozy and comfortable. That apply as well for the breakfast: excellent raw materials, excellent food. The neighborhood is absolutely quite and you can sleep with a ceiling fan and a very quite aircon in each room. Btw, the room (at least the family one) hosts a fridge as well. We slept in a family room, that is actually composed of a main room hosting a queen bed and of a smaller room hosting two twin beds, the two rooms sharing the common bathroom in the middle. There's free wi-fi as well, but I cannot comment on the bandwidth because I used my G4 connection. If warned in advance, the owner will leave the key in a coded keybox, so that you can collect anytime in the night at your arrival, very comfortable for those travelling as us. The only remark is on the breakfast time, a little too early .. you must have breakfast before 9.30 am!

Pros: Robyn cooked the best French Toast I have ever had. She also set up for tea/coffee in the lounge for me and my friend
Cons: Nothing to report - it was perfect.
It was very quiet all during the night even though the car spaces outside were all taken by patrons attending the close-by hotel.
