"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. "When we arrived were immediately helped to sort out the parking. We would have liked to know beforehand that parking was difficult and that valet service was available. Our bags were taken care of and in our room when we checked in. The room was pleasant but there was old water in the kettle and old opened milk sachets. There was no shower gel in the container. Staff did put this right however. Breakfast was good and staff helped with a special order Spa facilities were very good but we hadn’t realised that without booking a treatment you are expected to pay extra per day to use the facilities . We booked dinner on our second night and we were disappointed to hear that some items were off the menu and others had been changed. We then waited far too long for our main course. The food that came out was mixed. Main courses were tasty but side dishes were poor."
