Staff that is going above and beyond!

We (my family and I) have stayed here many times. The kids like the pool, my wife likes the beds and it is close to Winnipeg's major shopping destination. Being from out of town makes it very convenient!
This week I booked a king room for a couple of nights as it is just my wife and I traveling this time. Arriving at the hotel I noticed that something went wrong with the Expedia booking and I got a two-queen room instead. Not a big deal normally but since we travelled (for the first time a long time) without the kids, we wanted a nice king bed instead. Initially the evening staff told me that nothing could be done about it, that is was an Expedia error and I could upgrade at an additional fee. The next morning I brought up the error with the daytime staff (after sending Expedia a complaint) and they went above and beyond to make it right. They upgraded us to a Jacuzzi room with a king bed and Expedia discounted the first night. Staff checked back to see if everything was in order and to ensure we were happy with our stay!
Great costumer service!! We'll be back for sure!
Also, thank you Expedia for promptly following up on the complaint.
