Pleasant family friendly well equipped Hotel

Pros: Comfortable, well equipped,very clean rooms with comfortable beds & lots of pillows.The staff were congenial and efficient. Enjoyed the free Breakfast
Cons: Having a bowl of Fruit in the Lobby / at the front desk, would be a nice addition to the always available Coffee and Tea.
Location: Very close to the airport. Definitely need a car to get around if you are there to visit and see the city. Location is close to all major routes.
Stayed here for a week. Had a quiet comfortable room on the top floor at the end of the hall. There are several suites. All rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. It is close to the airport. They also provide a lovely continental Free Breakfast ( from 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.). The Breakfast always has a choice of eggs ( varies daily), other hot items, and a waffle maker. There is free parking, free WIFI, a small fitness room, and laundry facilities.

Clean place to stay

I enjoy my stay and happy with the services I'm sure I recommend this hotel to all my friends and others it's good place to stay while on holiday in Winnipeg

Pros: The wonderful staff and great breakfast.
Cons: Long surveys to reply to.
Location: Very good location.
The staff made my stay so enjoyable and it was so terrific having such a nice breakfast in the morning.

Much worse than the last time we stayed

Pros: The staff was great, location is ideal for airport.
Cons: The rooms could use updating, and at least one requires a good clean. Cameras in parking lot (if there are any), should be more prominent.
Location: Close to the airport and shopping.
First off, I'd like to thank the staff for being friendly and understanding. We were not happy with our accommodations, and they allowed us to cancel with a full refund late in the evening. We were very disappointed in the state of the hotel. We stayed here several years ago and it was perfectly acceptable, so we thought we'd try it again for a quick 1 night stay. The parking lot had broken glass in 2 parking spots, suggesting a break-in problem (bad sign). We were in room 120 (recently renovated), which smelled strongly of paint. We had a toddler with us so we asked for a different room. We were moved to room 124, which smelled quite bad, like dirty or wet carpet. Having just asked to be moved, we decided to try and live with it (it was just one night, after all). Then we noticed some issues with the room: what we thought were stains in the sheets, but eventually determined were actually spots worn so thin you could see through them; an ugly red stain on the curtain (I won't speculate on what it was, but it looked disturbing); and bathwater that came out distinctly brown. While deciding if it was bad water, a dirty tub, or something else, I heard traffic, and rushed to the bedroom suite, only to find that our 2 year old had figured out how to open the door and was out in the parking lot (there was no way to lock the door from the inside). That was enough for us, and we spoke to the front desk. They were very understanding, and approved the refund request from Expedia.

Great stay

I stayed one night during a trip back from fishing in northern Canada. The front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. I told her I was tired and was going to stay in and she gave me info on multiple restaurants that delivered dinner to their hotel. Room was very clean and nice. Bed was fantastic! Definitely on my list for the future.

Very good hotel

Pros: Location and price through Expedia.
Cons: The rooms were a little outdated, could be modernized inside.
The hotel is central to everything: IKEA, zoo, museum and many restaurants. The hotel staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding area.

Convenient to the airport.

Pros: Breakfast & location
Cons: a Van to and from the airport would be nice
It would have been nice to have airport pick up. I arrived very late but Staff was very pleasant and the room was surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. I was in Winnipeg for a 50th Nursing Class reunion.

The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The hotel is in very good condition. The room's HVAC unit was kind of loud but other than that it was a very comfortable room. My wife and I have made it a habit to stay here every time we are in Winnipeg.

The staff is great.They are enthusiatic ,friendly,and professional.The breakfast is good.Coffee needs to be stronger.Newspapers should be available on weekends not just weekdays.A pool area is needed.The facilities need an updating.Great location.Rooms are clean.Overall rating would be very good

Decent hotel showing its age.

Pros: Staff and location.
Cons: A little more attention to the small details in the rooms.
Location: Close to the airport, Polo Park and ease of getting in and out of the city. Handy being close to Route 90.
The hotel itself is getting a bit worn, but the staff is very friendly and personable. The check in and out was a breeze. The only downside was the room was not as clean as I had expected. Small things like hairs on the floor in the bathroom and stained sheets. Also the toilet itself leaned to the right...kind of disconcerting at first.
