Comfortable hotel near the Museum of Human Rights

Pros: Every thing--see above!
Location: Right downtown. We walked to the Museum of Human Rights,the Forks, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Legislature and the Manitoba Museum.
We stayed three nights. Our room was spacious,quiet,clean and appeared newly furnished with king bed,sofa bed,armchair and ottoman,desk/ table, microwave and fridge. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although we did not use it, there was an indoor pool,which should appeal to young families and breakfast and parking are included in the price.

Breakfast was busy and 1 day there was no place to sit. When the hotel is full, parking is annexed across the street. Having said that, there is a security attendant in place until 6 am. Otherwise, great place to stay. Would definitely return.

Great downtown hotel.

Pros: Good breakfast. Nice pool. Big family suite.
Cons: The soap dish in the shower fell off the wall. Must be better...
Location: We did visit the Children's museum as well as the spectacular Human Rights museum. We could walk from the hotel.
Great family suite. 2 adults and 3 kids. We had lots of space. Staff were very polite and ready to offer suggestions.

Hotel is a bit run down

This hotel needs some upgrading, it is getting older and need to be freshened up. Rooms are not as clean as I would like.

downtown hotel between Exchange District & Forks

Pros: Bill at front desk was great -- provided excellent area restaurant recommendations -- and front desk staff helpful with all requests
Location: right in the middle of everything -- between Exchange District and The Forks -- great for walkers who don't want to drive
way above average at decent price -- 6 story building with free breakfast, parking, Wi-Fi, and indoor pool

Close to tourist attractions.

We got a warmed welcome from the staff, was a good looking hotel from the outside. The room was spacious including the sofa bed. The washroom was clean. The breakfast room need to be update , was too small, we didn't have a suitable room to walk and didn't get a table for my whole family.

DON'T STAY HERE!!!

I should have read more reviews, my mistake. It appears that the Humphrey is known, for having chronic vandalism in their "overflow parking". They have overflow parking because they have insufficient space at the hotel. We stayed here because of the proximity to downtown Winnipeg. 14 (yes, fourteen) cars were vandalized in the overflow parking lot. The front desk had a list of the cars and the rooms the guests were in. They did not call our rooms, we had to find out when we went to load the car. The staff were no help except for the maintenance man who cleaned all the glass up and put plastic on our windows. The owner, I was told 2 days later by the CCCO, who finally returned our call, was in the hotel but did not make any effort to speak to the owners of the vandalized cars. Food for breakfast was gross, the water in the rooms was brown. Suffice to say, I didn't make any coffee. I truly feel like the Humphrey is duping people and that the good reviews are written by staff. Like I said, DON'T STAY HERE!! A wasted $180.00

Our attendants strive to keep a close eye on both lots to prevent vandalism. We do our utmost to keep our guest's vehicles safe. It is unfortunate that this vandalism happened and we certainly do not like this type of incident happening at all. I have given your feedback to our management team to resolve. Close to the Train Station

Cons: One of our taps was loose
Location: The Forks, Museums Close, The Skywalk is a couple of blocks away.
I arrived on Via Rail and it was a couple of blocks walk. Hotel was pleasant, one of our taps was loose in the room, but other than that, no complaints

I have nothing to say. My truck along with 10 others were vandalized in the overflow parking lot and we were not offered any compensation.
