Nice hotel close to airport

Kids loved the pool and water slide. Chicago Joes restaurant had delicious food.

Affront desk was excellent with getting us checked in, staff in the restaurant not so much

Most of room was clean

Location: Restaurant was good.
The bathroom had a spot on the toilet sear. I took a wet Kleenex and it came off. Then I scrubbed it with soap. I told the front desk about it and was told "Sorry about that." They have a 110% clean guarantee. I guess they do not really do anything about it.

Hotel Close To Winnipeg Airport

Pros: The staff were nice, but the restaurant was way too noisy and the waitress didn't ask us if we wanted more coffee.
Cons: Make sure the staff is informed about the source of heat for the rooms, as all the efforts of trying to fix the heater were not required until 2 am.
Location: Close to the Winnipeg Airport. Visiting people we know so don't know about things to do nearby.
We chose this hotel because we were unfamiliar with Winnipeg and, being that we were arriving at 11:30 pm and would be tired and still had to collect our luggage and pick up our car rental, we wanted a hotel that was really close to the airport. It was really close. It was also advertised as a really nice and expensive hotel, but was reduced in price resulting in an excellent deal. We didn't hesitate to book this hotel to take advantage of this excellent deal. It was really close to the airport and we had no problems finding it being that we were really tired and it was dark outside. We checked into our room. We noticed the heater was blowing cold air and the curtain was blowing all over preventing our privacy. We tried to make it blow warm air, but nothing we tried would work. We contacted the desk and a fellow wearing a security uniform was sent. He wasn't able to do anything. We saw no other source of heat. We finally gave up waiting for the desk to send us someone to fix this problem at 2 am as we were exhausted. Even though we didn't see an alternate source of heat, we turned off the heater and went to sleep to see if we would freeze overnight. Despite this the room heat remained constant to our surprise. We think there might be radiant heat either in the floor or in the ceiling. The staff should have been aware of this. For three nights the room temperature stayed constant and if the staff were aware of this we could have went to bed much earlier and prevented all

Average. We went on a extremely weekend lots of people. Pool strong chlorine. Rooms ok no microwave to heat up kids milk or what not inconvenient because you have to go down to heat it up.
