Hotel Close To Winnipeg Airport
Posted Nov 28, 2016
We chose this hotel because we were unfamiliar with Winnipeg and, being that we were arriving at 11:30 pm and would be tired and still had to collect our luggage and pick up our car rental, we wanted a hotel that was really close to the airport. It was really close. It was also advertised as a really nice and expensive hotel, but was reduced in price resulting in an excellent deal. We didn't hesitate to book this hotel to take advantage of this excellent deal. It was really close to the airport and we had no problems finding it being that we were really tired and it was dark outside. We checked into our room. We finally gave up waiting for the desk to send us someone to fix this problem at 2 am as we were exhausted. Even though we didn't see an alternate source of heat, we turned off the heater and went to sleep to see if we would freeze overnight. Despite this the room heat remained constant to our surprise. We think there might be radiant heat either in the floor or in the ceiling. The staff should have been aware of this. For three nights the room temperature stayed constant and if the staff were aware of this we could have went to bed much earlier and prevented all
