Cons: The restaurant.
The Hilton is a great hotel. I have stayed many times in the past and I always enjoy my returns. My only disappointment is the new restaurant, it is terrible. The food and the desserts are terrible, for example, their cheesecake, eeww. How can you go wrong on cheesecake? Also, I ordered fish and chip, with the order I received two itsy bitsy pieces of almost burnt cod. The restaurant does make good drinks, I will give them that. The waitress in the evening (dinner) is a bit of a snob-she has the demeanour and idea about who she believes should be staying at the hotel, but the waitress for breakfast and lunch is nice and delightful. The hotel, maybe 3 years ago, had a great restaurant, the food, drinks, and hospitality we great. I don't know why it changed.

Close to the airport

Pros: Close to the airport, modern and well kept
I had a quick overnight in Winnipeg and this hotel is excellent. It has all the amenities and has been well-kept.

Excellent hotel close to the airport

Stayed for a few days for my sister's funeral. The staff were excellent and very polite and efficient. Adequate parking facilities. The manager and staff even sent us some flowers when they found out our reason for the stay. Thank you George and Jean Would certainly visit again.

Uncomfortable

The couch is so uncomfortable to sit or relax on and so is the bed. The phones didn't work in the room so I couldn't get ahold because f the front desk to let them know the on demand wasn't working all we wanted to do was watch a movie . The staff was great once I called them on my cell they gave us a free breakfast but didn't fix any of the stuff that wasn't working. Definitely try a different hotel next time.

Great hotel

Great hotel all around. Friendly and highly competent staff. One of the beds in the room was missing the frame and the mattress was on the floor, that was a little strange.

First time stay

My stay was great except a couple things. The hotel room was massive, I wasn't expecting that at all which was a nice surprise after coming back from vacation. The only issue I have is the security during the day was fine but at night they either aren't there or don't care. Kids running up and down the hall at late hours, people banging on doors at 4am and screaming. this is my only complaint. other then that it was a good stay!

We had a group in house that was challenging but we promise this will not reoccur again. Our security and management stayed in the hotel overnight to monitor and ensure our guests had a peaceful sleep and yet there were concerns. Thank you for staying with us. Noisy and messy

This was our second time staying at this location and it was disappointing. Room had numerous issues such as a dirty tv screen, broken lamp, broken coffee table etc. We booked a suite which was nice and roomy but it appeared the hotel was unable to handle the large number of guests they had on hand. Floor was very noisy at night with kids running and screaming in the halls at all hours. As well when we exited our room, having to walk through leftover food all over the floors was not pleasant. Elevators were inadequate and the overall stay was disappointing to say the least. Restaurant staff were very nice but front desk looked overwhelmed.

Many older children rough housing in the pool unsupervised, throwing balls around hitting other children. Security asked them to stop, they did not. My family and I got woken up by another guest yelling "get out of my room" at 7am. Also many intoxicated people walking around the hotel, I didn't feel comfortable sending my teens to the ice machine alone. The staff were very welcoming, brought us more blankets.
