The exterior of the building gives the wrong impression. The hotel is clean and the staff was pleasant and courteous. If they took the time to paint the outside, I would give it 4 stars

Hotel was very clean and staff was great. Due to its location near the interstate alot of trash was visible in the parking lot and fence adjacent.

I was so glad the hotel was close to mall and hospital. I was visiting my sister at hospital and because it was close I was able to spend more time with her.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bed was a bit hard. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a drink machine on the floor. Overall, a good value and a good night.

Bad smoke and marijuana smell on second floor. Was placed on another floor when asked but not sure if I would stay again. Pricey for having to put up with that smell initially.

The host (a guy) that checked us in was very professional and friendly. Hotel was clean and room was clean. Breakfast was hot and area was clean.

Everything was nice. The only problem I had was with the associate who completed my check-in. He profiled me as a local resident and told me that locals come and trash the rooms. I have nothing to do with whatever someone else does. I just wanted to provide my wife with a stay-cation after a long work week.

Mr. Paul, at the front desk, is by far the best staff I've seen in a hotel. I've traveled to many places in the last 8 years, but Mr. Paul not only shows that he cares, but that each customer are special to him and the business. His service is above and beyond, by ever detail.

I always stay here on work trips to Winston Salem. They've renovated part of the hotel so the rooms are clean and new. Breakfast options are great and the staff are super friendly. So many restaurants and shopping nearby and close to the interstate. I don't stay anywhere else when I come for work.

Comfort after the storm
We were greeted by a professional, friendly associate, Karen, she helped us check-in and find a local eatery. She gave expert directions. We really appreciate her assistance. The breakfast served was hot and had many selections. It was a great surprise and we enjoyed it. Our stay was great and we plan to use Comfort Inn on our next trip.
