Great location downtown, but was confusing getting around. The room was nice and clean, the staff were wonderful, but the breakfast was an additional $10 for anything other than what was presented.

We've stayed at The Hawthorne multiple times. It's very nice, nothing fancy but clean. Very nice and helpful staff. A bargain.

Front desk could not help me find local channels on the TV. It turns on to a list of channels, none of which were ABC, NBC, or CBS. Going up and down around those were just blank. He said “You get whatever the package is that they have.” I later saw a code to scan that was behind the Tv and it showede how to get them! Also the continental breakfast choice was a muffin, a bagel and an orange of apple.

The staff was very friendly and the room nice. The bed was very comfortable and clean. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place to anyone. They have a simple breakfast but also offer a full breakfast for a small additional fee.

There was no shower cap, lotion and a very small hand soap. There was bath soap and shampoo in shower on wall. Plenty of towels. In-room coffee was very good. Check-in was slow but a new employee was being trained. Free drinks from cooler offered while waiting so staff responded well.
