I might be over reacting but when we arrived there were several people outside the hotel witg their clothes and bed linens I mean a lot of items, so I was not sure if there were bums hanging around or what. When we got to our room and walked out of the side entrance looking to our right were a bunch of clothes, linens, shoes and other personal items, but after a while they were gone.But te staff was really kind and accomodating. The hotel was clean and the room was nice except for a broken shade that would not go all the way down.

The insulation in the rooms were terrible. You can hear people talking out in the hallway all night and the guest above my head were walking really heavy in addition, the traffic was noisy. Also, the breakfast was very limited.

Lobby and elevator smelled of smoke, but room was clean and comfortable. Walls and floors very thin however; can hear everything. Property is off a highway in an area that feels adequately safe but certainly not a luxurious area.

Just ok.
The HVAC set up was a nightmare. We had to keep resetting (unplugging and plugging unit back in) to get the unit to work and most of the time it did work. One of the two rooms i booked was on the first floor (room 101) window lock did not work and had to be moved to a double room instead of what we booked (king room) which was ok, Staff was friendly rooms were very clean.

It had all the amenities that we needed we only had to supply our toothbrush and toothpaste. The thing I didn't like was the remote for the TV because it always went to the pay to view channel. We had to have the staff help us get to the TV channels.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Did see a few roaches in the bathroom. Typical of North Carolina and their warm weather. Need to exterminate frequently to keep them at bay. The room and bathroom was clean. Front desk and hallway is clean and nicely decorated.

The beds were so comfortable. The rooms were clean and roomy. The only thing was the interstate noise. But I’ll know to request a room on opposite side of hotel. Breakfast was well displayed and had several choices to meet your wants.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was excellent with a clean dining area and plenty of fresh juices and coffee. Overall a great stay but a little pricey for the area.

Great stay!
Super nice staff. Remodeled room was beautiful and very clean. Beds were a little high and at 5'1" I had to crawl in but it was very comfortable. Could hear a little road noise at times but still slept well regardless. We already have reservations to stay again in December and looking forward to it. Great place to stay!

Comfortable stay Holiday Inn Express
This hotel is not much to look at from the outside but inside it’s very nice. Great lobby and breakfast area with large screen tv to watch sports. Hotel room was spacious with comfortable beds and large bathroom vanity area to put toiletries. The staff were helpful and accommodating to all our requests!

The worst a hotel ever. Do NOT stay!!!!
It was terrible. There were two women across the hall fighting from 3am until 8am and therefore I did not get any sleep. I am now sick because I was up all night as they were screaming for hours at the top of their lungs. I called the front desk 2x. They came up but didn’t get the women to stop screaming. I was there to see my son for parents weekend and was exhausted and it ruined the trip. I am now sick and missed work on Monday. DO NOT STAY this hotel.

Good stay after disappointing entrance
Didn’t know it was under construction and was very confusing as to where to enter. Workers making a lot of dust where you enter building but our room was excellent and everything on that floor was great. The breakfast was wonderful and the workers in that area very attentive about keeping everything clean and tidy.

Property is under construction. Have to get in through an unlocked side door. No parking. Had to park next to the dumpster the construction crew is using. No working elevators. Just what a person wants to experience at 1:30AM after a 8 hour drive.

They were tearing up the front entrance when we arrived. They are updating a few things. I walked in and the floor was covered with dust and residue. A jackhammer (5 feet away) running while I am trying to check in. I thought that this information would have been on the description. (under renovation) The pool was also covered up and not open. None of this information was given prior to our arrival. If I knew about the other stuff upfront I would have been prepared and might have changed my plans. Staff was shell shocked as well. Not very nice or attentive to any needs. You had to walk through the construction area to get to the elevators. The rooms were clean and nice.

The hotel staff was very nice at check in. The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation, but it didn't affect our one night stay. If we'd been spending more than a night, it would've been nice to know before booking.
