Needs renovationPosted Nov 2, 2015
Cons: Just about everything
Location: Good location, close to Tanglewood Park, Hanes mall, IHOP
Hotel very outdated. Security side door left unlocked and open, carpet old. According to staff the hotel is supposed to be renovated by the new owner starting in January. Door card keys work intermittently, (very frustrating). Hotel staff pleasant, however, an error was made in registering us when we checked in. Because of this error, a staff member came to our door at 3am and woke us up by knocking to see if the room was vacant. It not only woke us up but scared us because the eye hole in the door was blocked and my husband couldn't see who was there. It took us several hour to get back to sleep. The staff was very apologetic and offered to give us a discount but because we booked by a third party they could not do it. Another disappointment. Made us think we should in the future book directly with the hotel. P

Convenient to the interstatePosted Oct 29, 2015
This hotel is in need of upgrading and cleaning. The halls are dark and there was a huge pile of dirty towels outside of our door that was never picked up. Just ok for a night.

OkPosted Aug 18, 2015 on Hotels
The first room we were in the water to the sink was shut off and the pipes from under the sink were lying scattered on the floor. I brought this to the front desk's attn. and they switched us to the room next door. There was no refrigerator or microwave in that room just an empty stand. Beds were pretty comfortable, but room could use a deeper clean- there was dust, a bottle cap under the bench stand and stains on the bed skirt, etc. The wifi was out of reach of our room, which having two kids with me was very inconvenient.

Let me in!Posted Jul 21, 2015 on Hotels
They were in a switch from Holiday Inn to Quality Inn and because of that my room key wouldn't work for the first day and only with multiple tries the second and third days.

Overall Ok.Posted Jun 17, 2015 on Hotels
Room was clean. Neighborhood immediately surrounding was fine. Front desk attendant was nice & didnt get frustrated when the electronic keys wouldnt work. Only issues were the front desk attendant had to try 3 times to program the electronic keys to get them to work. I had to go back & forth from the room to the front desk each time before they worked. The beds were not comfortable. You could feel the individual springs pressing against you. They were definately old & worn out. Ive slept on better mattress at lower end/qualty hotels, but didnt expect it from a Quality Inn. Something I would of expected in a mom & pop hotel or a Motel 6/ Super 8.

Close to a jobsitePosted May 7, 2015
Pros: Great location with good restaurant choices.
Cons: Updated linens.
The hallways smell badly. The public restroom smelled awful and was closed because out of service. New pillows are needed as well as towels.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, clean. This review, however, is getting annoying.

Needs maintenancePosted Dec 9, 2014 on Hotels
Hotel is older and needs maintenance. Too expensive for an outdated holiday inn express. If it wasn't for proximity to my event, I would have paid $5 more and stayed at the marriot.
