Front desk gets a 5 star. Management gets a zero for customer service. Came into town for a doctor appointment for my sick wife. Manager on duty would not allow a late check out in a huge empty hotel for my sick wife. Disappointed. Will not be back for future appointments. Across street is super8 and quality inn.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Village Inn. Although an older hotel it was pleasantly updated and the rooms were surprisingly spacious. The free breakfast was excellent and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

This hotel has no elevator so handicapped people have limited options. They only have 2 accessible rooms. I called and talked to someone to tell them that I was in a wheelchair and needed an accessible room. They assured me that they would have one for me. I checked in at about 3:30pm but they said both accessible rooms were occupied already. They had almost no guests yet?? I had a very hard time with the bathroom. When I complained, they offered nothing but sorry about that.

The bed was extremely comfortable. I usually have a hard time sleeping in a hotel, but I slept sound, thanks to the bed and the bedding! Only complaint, and it’s minimal. The a/c was a bit loud and I could hear the people in the adjoining room talking.

AC didn't cool well, kept cutting off. Fridge did not cool. Small room, very small bathroom. Room was dated but clean. Metal bedsprings were creaky. Breakfast was handed to me in a bag at check-in. Staff was very pleasant. Did not stay. I would instead recommend the Comfort Inn in Mocksville.

Our room was very clean and we had no problems except for none of the ice machines worked. The hotel is right close to the expressway which was convenient. The hotel seemed older but it was very nice and that didn't bother us at all. The staff was nice also. The shower & TV were nice along with the bed & pillows. We had a nice buffet breakfast on one morning but only received a paper bag breakfast the second day. We would stay here again.

Weekend stay with family.
We stayed at this hotel for my daughter's volleyball tournament. The staff was very friendly when we interacted with them, the rooms were nice and clean, and we got what we booked. All in all, it was a comfortable stay.

My husband and I was just needing somewhere local to stay after a wedding because we were leaving early The next morning to go out of town so we decided to have a “staycation” and this was just enough. I’ve heard wonderful things about the restaurant attached to the Inn but we didn’t get to try it. This Inn was quaint and everything you need. No bells and whistles, just simple and efficient.

Lady at check-in was friendly and funny. But when my smoke alarm went off shortly after I took a shower, I told her and she asked "Did you take shower? Well it must have been the moisture." Apparently not the first time. The room smelled like a gymnasium and, for the first time in probably 1,000 hotel stays in my life, the room had a dehumidifier in the corner, with a lighted note that said "bucket full." The TV worked, and the two bars of soap -- one small, one large -- were nice. But the shower head was probably 20 years old, and the handle to control the water was loose. (At least water pressure and temperature was okay.)
