Shower without hot water

Posted Dec 30, 2015
Stayed there for two days. No hot water from shower. Called and walked to front desk many times. No one comes to repair and fix the big problem.

Location location location

Posted Dec 28, 2015
Pros: Short walk to restaurants and bars in town. Front desk very friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast. Inexpensive
Cons: It's an old building - the paper-thin walls were somewhat annoying if you had loud people, kids, or crying babies next door.
The hotel is old. Do not expect a 5-star hotel and you'll be fine. Not many outlets, the walls are thin, decorating is from the 70s. As long as you know that going in, it is what it is. Free breakfast, but if you don't get there right away you may have to wait for clean dishes and more food.

dog friendly in a great location, but super dated. overall a little expensive for what you get. even a super basic continental breakfast (like one you'd find in a super 8) would have been nice. the staff was very pleasant and it was as clean as it could be for how old the furnishings were.

No locks or latches inside -

Posted Sep 5, 2015
D'ont feel safe staying here. Front desk staff will not stay available at all time. They will leave after their last check in for the day. Rooms next door left their doors open always, which make me feel like a dorm where people know if you are in your room or not. Plus the fact that there is no safe lock inside, I checked out after the second nights.

A classic ski lodge

Posted Aug 20, 2015 on Hotels
Fine affordable lodging in the classic ski lodge tradition, good bed and a clean bath. Friendly staff and a great location with large rooms that had space for your gear storage, but a mountain bike, that might be too much. No A/C is not a problem, because at night time the cool mountain air will keep the room just fine.

Not going back to the hotel.

Posted Aug 16, 2015 on Hotels
Maintenance issues, flooding toilets. Was supposed to have a King size bed, got a queen and a double. Mattresses were old and soft. No table in room, only one chair. Young adults at front desk were compassionate but helpless. Apparently management pays attention to the condos across Hwy 40, not the dumpy old hotel.

Nice hotel for a night or two

Posted Aug 8, 2015
The place had a vey unique feel, wooden boards everywhere. It's close to the town and the staff were friendly. Would stay again.

Don't stay here

Posted Aug 6, 2015
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
No one was around when we got there at 8:00 p.m. Door unlocked to lobby. Called the emergency number on the door and was told the key was in the outside box. Filthy stairway and NO hot water.
