They had nice stay options, i had a room made for 3 men and it fit us perfectly. The convient downstairs wash room, accommodated many persons at once. My only complaint was there was parking designated for Suv's and it was taken by cars everynight, guess should either be given a spot or guess with size requirements be given a spot, my Suv had terrible parking every night of our stay because all the spot big enuff for me where taken, luckily i had small passengers of age to drive and park the suv in the tighter smaller spots or a spot was just made for us by the wonderful accomodating staff.

There is one problem at this hotel in that the underground parking is very tight. There are several "double decker" spaces with lifts. These are not big high enough for modern cars. There are a few designated SUV only spaces. At busy times there are no free spaces. This is a pity as the hotel is otherwise perfect.

We’d already stayed here for 2 nights during the Festspiele the week prior, but decided to return for the last opera in the Ring. Couldn’t pass up a last-minute Expedia deal where one night was nearly half the cost of the previous week’s booking. Same great experience, room was slightly smaller, no bathrobe/slippers, no big deal. This is a lovely, well-run and well-staffed property.

Booked the hotel specifically because we had tickets to the Festival. Efficient check-in prior to arrival, friendly and helpful staff, shuttle bus to and from Festival with pre-performance champagne. Renovated, super clean and spacious room (photos on website do not do the superior rooms justice), delicious breakfast served in a lovely room.

Great Hotel, fantastic location. My only complaint was the WiFi. The WiFi was spotty at best and I noticed that after 5pm each day it was not even usable until around 9pm. Other than that one thing it was great.

Very clean and comfortable room, spacious and all the essentials. Location was perfect for a quick walk to city centre, and nice to have an easy to access car park. Was only here for one night but definitely would stay again if visting Bayreuth again.

Rooms are dark, barely hot water in the shower, no iron - have to go to an ironing room to press clothes, bath towels are old and hard. Beds are brilliantly comfortable though which is huge!!

Great hotel in Bayreuth
Went to Bayreuth for the 2019 Festival. What a pleasant stay at H4 Hotel. It's centrally located - only a 5-minute walk to the town center. The room was clean, modern looking, and very spacious. The staff was all lovely. It also provides a free bus to and from the opera house. I also like that it has a bar that opens until 1 am - perfect for an after-opera drink/gathering with friends. WiFi was a bit spotty - depends on where you are located.

An excellent hotel
This hotel is off the main drag, but a convenient walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was very quiet. They have a shuttle to and from the opera house. The breakfast is excellent (although we used Starbucks Via to strengthen the coffee!). The room was clean, the bedding and pillows were high-quality and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only things that could be improved: the room had no overhead lights, and the floor lamp didn't work, so if it was dark outside, it was pretty dark in the room; the exercise room is small (3 machines); the wi-fi was a bit patchy; and if you want a bathtub, you have to get a junior suite. These few things did not spoil our trip, and we would absolutely stay here again.
