“My stay at Lori’s place was exactly what I needed. Lori was wonderfully prepared for her guests and took the time to have a sincere, gracious conversation with me. I was looking for a quiet space to decompress before a funeral, and this home provided just that. The setting was secluded, peaceful, and spotless—more than enough in every way. I’m truly grateful for the comfort and care I found here.”

“This stay was nothing short of perfect, in large part due to Melba and her family were incredible hosts. My husband and I drove up from TN for a family reunion, and loved having a place to stay all to ourselves. The location was great--only about 20 minutes to where we needed to go in any direction. Melba even gave us permission to go look at their new baby goats, which absolutely made my day. I cannot wait to come back! I will mention that it does get bright as the sun rises, and the best is……

“Very clean, nicely appointed, and in a good location for downtown activities. For anyone with mobility issues, know that there is a short downhill walk on pavement to the entrance. Once inside there are more steps down from the kitchen to the living room and one step up into the bedrooms. Not an issue for us but could be for others. Would stay again if in Roanoke.”

“This place was great for our needs! It had three separate bedrooms with comfortable beds, making it ideal for a group or family. Access was generally easy, though it may be a bit challenging for anyone with mobility issues due to the stairs. The front door was a bit tricky—it required a firm push to open. There was a slight cat odor, possibly from a previous guest, but it wasn’t overwhelming. Overall, these were minor issues and didn’t take away from the experience. I would definitely stay here……
