Got the job done

Posted Nov 23, 2016
Had to stay for the night last minute. Dirty used soap bar and open shampoo in the shower.. but got the job done. Crashed for the night left in the morning. Some things definitely need to be fixed and updated, but hey, you get what you pay for.

Going to contact management with pics today!

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Pros: Price was cheap (guess you get what you pay for....but I at least expected a clean toilet and shower) Front Desk employee was polite upon arrival.
Cons: Clean the rooms. Make sure security doors are secure.
Urine on the toilet and floor behind the toilet. Mold in the ice bucket, and the shower. Cobwebs and spiders in every corner. Burn holes in the curtain. Huge mystery wad of toilet paper behind the TV. No remote. Phone beeped continuously until we unplugged it (and it was not a message). Heater expelled a stench like wet dog. Outside door had a security card reader, but pulled open without it. We were there for a short night and too tired to complain and ask for a new room, so we put up with it, but I fully intend to contact the manager today, with pictures, and ask for a refund.

Disappointing

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Overworked staff meant poorly kept rooms. Tub didn't' look well cleaned, 1 bathroom bulb was out, wall grout was black, bedspread was ripped, towels very thin, veneer on bed stand peeling off, overheard one guest say their sheets had been obviously used, overheard a guest request another room because their bed was broken, a security door was broken, floor in breakfast room was sticky.

Bikini bottom sanitary liner stuck to comforter

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Room was absolutely disgusting
We needed a hotel in the Wisconsin Dells area for a quick 2 night stay as we were attending a wedding in town. We needed a place solely for sleeping. Upon check in the front desk employee gave us keys to a room that was destroyed. The king bed was flipped over; it looked like a tornado had went through the room. He apologized and said that it was a miscommunication with housekeeping. He then gave us a new room. While going to bed that night, we found a sanitary bikini liner stuck to the bed's comforter. Save yourself the disaster book at ANY other hotel.

A Roof over your head

Posted Oct 3, 2016
We needed a place to stay the night and didn't want to pay too much and didn't care about amenities. This place was perfect for a nights sleep and room surprisingly clean. Staff was friendly, bed was reasonably comfortable with soap, shampoo and coffee maker. Fairly happy with the stay considering the price.

Needs Updating

Posted Sep 13, 2016
Pros: So close to the attractions yet far enough away to not deal with crowds. Close to restaurants and gas stations. Awesome staff!
Cons: The rooms are dim--even with all the lights on. Update the carpeting and fixtures. Squeaky bed -_-
Location: Mini golf right next door; strip and attractions not too far away at all. Several restaurants, gas stations, and a Walgreens nearby.
The hotel is an old EconoLodge and is in desperate need of interior/room updates. However, the pool/Jacuzzi area (indoor) is excellent. The rooms themselves...not so much. I understand it is an economy hotel and certainly not a Hilton, but it needs some sprucing up. The rooms smell like basement and everything seems worn out. Great staff and service.

NO TOWELS/LUMPY PILLOWS

Posted Sep 7, 2016
Pros: An unleashed dog running down the hall. He was cute!
Cons: Think it is probably passed that point.
As soon as I walked into the bathroom I noticed two bath matts hanging from the towel bar as well as one on the tub. No bath towels, hand towels or washcloths. I grabbed one of the bath matts to wipe my hands and face. It smelled dirty. The thought of someone's feet on it made me cringe. The next AM I went to the lobby for fresh towels and was told they would try to find some. Some time later a scant amount were delivered to our room. Which of none we used as they smelled musty, were gray and dingy. I can attest to the fact that yes you can "barely" dry yourself and wrap your head with one bath matt. My husband was not able to shower. As for the pillows, my husband said he would have just have been more comfortable sleeping on a sack of potatoes! We had four but all were stuffed with pieces of sponge and who knows what else. Needless to say our two night adventure became one. Why I did not ask for compensation on the one night, I am not sure. Maybe I felt sorry for the place. The stay at this America's Best Value Inn was not worth anything!
