I was here 10 yrs ago and i was amazed by the entire hotel on cleanliness! The room we stayed at had hair in the bedsheets and pillows, mold in the bathroom ceiling, the carpet had sticky stains on it, and a 24” tv that did not work! I think this place should undergo a major renovation or a major deep clean at least. I would not stay here again, the price was not worth what we got.

I liked everything, but will never ever come back. It’s is not safe out there. Me and my boyfriend checked in and we’re going to our car(it was around 4:30 pm, daylight. 5 adult men were walking past us and started shouting to us as we were walking, swearing and threatening my boyfriend. Next day me and my friend (both of us are in our 20’s) we’re walking alone in the tunnel that leads to water park. I believe it was 4 teens that were walking towards us. Started shouting inappropriate staff towards us. They were clearly younger. (Maybe 17/18) So if you are looking to go there, keep in mind to never walk anywhere alone, walk as a group if possible. Or don’t go there at all. I stayed at Grand Geneva resort before, less amenities, but much safer.

Great resort. Fun water park. Needs some TLC. Villas are great. Shower could use some work. But otherwise loved it. Definitely would recommend visiting.

The staff was wonderful. The room itself was ok considering the price I expected more. The latch for our room was barely hanging on. The one toilet wasn't working properly. There were dishes in there that weren't clean. Lights that had gone out. The TV's had limited channels and all the TVs were different channels. One of the days of our stay the waterpark wasn't even open. The staff was the only good thing. It was not worth the trip.

Check in awful. Garden View = parking lot dumpster, balcony room over parking lot and slider only opens 1’. Old dates TV and tub. Room for $259 = $445 after adding taxes, fees and more fees. A true 2 star experience.

It's was ok
Don't like the fact that you have to drive/go outside in order to utilize the indoor Waterpark. Was not the most convenient thing to have to drag all of our belongings to and from the room to the car to the Waterpark. Stayed in a villa, seemed like very few guests were there as the parking lot was completely empty yet they cram all the guest they do have right on top of each other. Our room was directly across from an ovachine whichade pretty loud noise all night and of course one of the few other hotel guests were right next door and they were extremely loud all night and bright and early the next morning. paid $75 for late check out (1230pm) hoping to get a few extra hours of sleep since our neighbors were so loud the night before but of course housekeeping came banging on the door at 1030am on the dot telling us they were there to clean our room. defeated the entire purpose to sleeping in when we were unable to do so. Rooms were decent but severely crowded. huge coffee table that we had to drag out on to the porch in order to open the sofasleeper. Microwave was missing a paneling cover leaving wires exposed. Kids enjoyed the Waterpark.

Wonderful NYE getaway
We stayed for 2 nights. We were there for the NYE family parties. Review is just for the hotel. Check in was busy but it went fast. Our room had a balcony facing the river. Room was clean, bathroom was fine, heat worked. No issues at all. Waterpark was fine for our kids (8 & 11). We were there for at least 4 hours daily. They were never bored. We wished that the jacuzzi would be open but they weren't. The Waterpark could use updates, but we were glad all the slides were open. There was a lot of people but didnt feel crowded at all. We used the hot springs outside, it was very nice. We took walks along the river walk - it's really quiet and the resort is well cared for. Our only issue was that the Starbucks seemed to mess up everyones orders, they do not accept gift cards. The NYE buffet was amazing! Restaurants are well priced, we didnt have to leave the resort at all.

It was a great experience for my 3 kids. Was a little disappointed with the upkeep of our room. Fixtures were falling out of the walls, drawers were busted, and the shades were broken to name just a few items. The staff was nice and other guests were friendly which helped.
