Very nice property for the money, and they're working on some final updates to spruce it up. Good breakfast buffet. The only knock is that the mattresses are like trampolines. When my wife rolled over it about bounced me in the air.

It's an older property, but they are seriously remodeling at the moment. Noticed a lot of workman hanging out in the lobby, the parking area too. Speaking of the parking area it's in terrible need of repair, I almost fell in a hole in a parking space.

I know they are going through a renovation and it’s definitely needed. Did not know this when booked though. My room was gross and I would never stay there again. I feel bad because the girl working the desk was very nice, the property was just not worth what I paid for the night.

Nice place. Staff was great. Breakfast was good. The bummer is we picked this hotel for the indoor pool but it's out of order.. somethings are uncontrollable but we're visiting family in town and that was the point coming to this place

We loved looking at the mountains from our hotel room. Reno’s steak house and McDonald’s was next to the hotel. We plan to visit again and will most definitely stay here at Best Western.

It was a wonderful stay. And Holly was very polite and got what we needed. I would recommend Best Western to all my friends. The check in Ladies were polite and very helpful when Questions were asked.

There was a lot of remodeling going on but I was in one of the newly renovated rooms. It was very nice, clean no issues at all. Plus there is a great restaurant on site Renos excellent!

This place is the Best place to stay every one is polite, friendly, very helpful and Courteous. When ever I go to Wise Va, I book at Best Western hotel. If I was to rate them it would be 10 out of 10.

Service was fine, breakfast was good. Our room had a musty smell to it, that was only bearable for 1 night. Carpet in hallway needed replaced for sure. Overall a few improvements and it would be ok. They were doing some renovations down the hall.

Staff was very friendly and professional at check in!! Sweet young lady and very helpful! Breakfast was good and love how they are renovating the place! We travel to and from Indiana a couple times a year and this is our new stopping place!

Pleasant stay
The room was spacious and the king size bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the coffee pods supplied for the in room coffee maker. We appreciated the small fridge and microwave provided. TV worked well. Pillow were comfortable. The hotel was being renovated so there was dust everywhere and plugs hanging out of the wall is some common areas. Staff were pleasant but not overly friendly. Ice machine on our floor was broken. Overall we were pleased with our stay. Once the renovations are complete this place will most likely be top notch! Just remember, no matter how nice the hotel is, customer service is what brings people back!

I wasn't aware that you had to request a non-smoking room anywhere these days. I was given a smoking room and all of my clothes smelled like cigarette smoke. It looked like the hotel was under renovation which is great because it desperately needs an upgrade. Just make certain to request a non-smoking room.

The staff was absolutely amazing!! Tiffany the front desk manager, Taylor W, and Candice were so eager to assist me and were kind, courteous, thoughtful and available any time I called the front desk. They were so personable also. They took what is typically a transactional sort of task and made it interactional by asking me about how i was doing!!! Very perceptive and just phenomenal customer service. When i needed to stay a few extra nights they made sure my reservation was ready to go!! They are the best. I will stay here from now on because of their service. Thanks to them all.

The lobby smelled like cat piss when I checked in. The hallway carpets are old and smelly. The bed had a plastic bed cover under the sheets like a baby crib and was very hot to sleep on. King mattress was old and on need or replacement. But the breakfast was very acceptable.

A disappointing visit to this site. The amenities listed were not in the room. : clock radio with alarm, microwave, Re fridge. There was heavy dust on the top of the headboard. These problems were taken to the front desk at checkout. The response was,”Did you call and request them?” These items were listed on the website as amenities and they weren’t there. I didn’t need them but it is not my responsibility! They should be in the room. The swimming pool and exercise room were not functioning.

The hotel was convenient for us as we traveled. Our room was clean and comfortable. It is an older building but is relatively good condition.

Spend a few extra dollars and go elsewhere!!
The overall condition of the hotel was quite poor. The rooms reeked of smoke, there were burn holes in the carpet, the curtains had holes in them. My family was in town for a funeral and we rented several rooms. After returning from the memorial service, my brother-in-law arrived back to his room to find another patron was now assigned to his room and all of his stuff was missing. The front desk claimed that there was no record of him even staying there and said they didn’t know where his belongings were. My niece tried the “find my iPad” feature from her phone and they could literally hear their missing devices alerting from behind the front desk. The staff claimed they had no idea where the items were yet they were stashed just feet away. It is a very sketchy area and the employees are even sketchier. Do not leave any items of value in your room if you decide to stay here and if you desire cleanliness, you’d be better off finding another hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Basic but clean accommodations. Linens were threadbare but still usable. Mattresses were lumpy. Complimentary breakfast was very basic but adequate. Pool was closed for repairs. Lobby needs some lounge chairs.
