Great location. Staff started a nice fire for us while we relaxed and had good family time in the Lobby area after dinner. Clean rooms and plenty of food and shopping in the immediate area. Charming town.

Nice hotel, close to downtown.

Posted Oct 28, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Convenience and comfort.
Cons: Restaurant food. Overdone -keep it fresh.
Location: Great location. Walk to shops, galleries and restaurants.
A nice hotel, close to downtown shops and restaurants. Beach and lake views great. Hotel restaurant menu needs revising. They are trying too hard to appear upscale by adding a lot of exotic competing flavors, garnishes and ingredients into their entrees. Best to stick to the burgers if you go there or ask them to keep your entree simple, fresh and eliminate some of the multiple layers of garnishes and presentation elements - they just don't work. I ordered spinach salad, and even that was loaded with unusual garnishes - instead of fresh tomatoes, they sauteed the tomatoes in with onions and a ton of whole roasted garlic cloves, not to mention they added fried cheese balls that looked like sea urchins, fried prosciutto and jumbo watermelon radish roses! I did not eat half the stuff. Also noticed they like to fry or roast what are usually fresh ingredients like fried asparagus, fried avocado, fried cauliflower, and roasted radish.

Comfortable hotel in pretty resort

Posted Sep 17, 2016
Pros: Room, bed, lounge area in lobby, private beach
Cons: Friendliness of staff
Location: Wolfeboro very pretty resort, great boat trip out and walking trails nearby. Lots to do for those who enjoy water sports and only two hours to Boston
Hotel itself is great, large rooms comfortable bed. Staff a little disappointing on reception and in tavern, not very welcoming or helpful. Was a little disappointed that the junior suites did not have its own private balcony only a shared one.

Need to reevaluate their processes

Posted Jul 16, 2016
My 2 night stay was nothing but a hassle. I prepaid both nights on Expedia. When I checked the front desk thought I only booked one night. After the woman stared at her computer for 5 minutes, she asked if I booked online because "there is a problem when you book online" in that their system recognizes there to be an empty room on each night but not the same room for both nights. She then found the 2nd night reservation and told me that we would need to check out by 11 AM and then check back in after 4 pm to a different room. After asking her why that would need to be the case she kept blaming the system and online booking and said there was nothing she could do. She gave me a "free" breakfast voucher which I later found out was actually only $20 and did not cover our breakfast but whatever. I went up to the room and called Expedia. They contacted the hotel. In the morning I checked with the front desk again to see if we really needed to check out since we needed to be in the room mid day in order to shower and get ready for an event. The woman at the front desk indicated they tried everything they possibly could to not have us check out but there was nothing she could do. So I called Expedia again and asked for a refund. They called the hotel. Miraculously the woman at the front desk said her manager "found a loophole" and we could stay in the room. Then when checking out they tried to charge me for the prepaid rooms. This hotels systems are terrible and outdated
