Sleep nice!

Had a great stay there. Clean and well kept. My only gripe and concern is the lighting on the side was dim and spotty. Just didn't feel safe getting out or going out to car at night. Out of a 10 I give this place a 8 because of this. Everything else was top shelf though.

I ask for queens I was offered King. The rooms there had no fridge or microwave rather a cooler which has no space. I was planning to reserve a room there from Fruday- Monday up to May but change my plans now I will stay somewhere else

I wish you had contacted the front desk about the refrigerator and microwave. We do keep a small supply of these for guests, and could have sent them to your room. Please give us another try.

We needed a hotel to stay at and went by expedia rating even though it was over 6 miles From the train were we got off in Lorton. We had traffic most of the way after 7 pm Next time we may rry the comfort inn Near the train station other passengers Had stayed there and we satisified. Courtyards was a nice hotel and the room Was fairly comfortable. There were several things that we were disappointed with. The lighting was only fair. You had to put on several lights to get enOugh lighting . There was no blower in the bathroom and the mirrors steamed up when taking a shower. I don't believe that we ever stayed in a hotel that did not have a blower in the bathroom. The mini frig was just that very small and couldn't see the tiny swtich located on the bottom that was hard to read. Tbere was no microwave either. They had complamentary coffee but no tea. You had to buy tea at the Starbucks snack area downstairs. The beds were very comfortable and had nice furnishings in the room. The staff was very nice. I,wouldn't go out of my way to travel there again. We were told they recently had changed some things from havibg a complamentry breakfest to Starbucks.

We have quite a few guests who stay with us before or after taking the Auto Train, but I do know how bad traffic can be during rush hour. I'm sorry you didn't find the hairdryer in the armoire. We keep them there so the bathroom isn't too cluttered.

Greasy smell

Cons: Since you added the grill, the hotel smells like grease. This odor is prominent in the hallways and the lobby. Not sure I want to go out for

Overall good! Room clean and updated nicely. Close to all things.

Staff need to be trained again

The room was good but the service was not. Nobody was there to check me in.. I waited about 15 mins. Then she did not know what she was doing. She held $80 plus $20.. I had already paid through hotel.com.. When I checked out.. I had to wait again and she charged my debit card after she assured me I wouldn't get charged. I went there Feb-13-2016.. Other than that, it was ok!

I'm so sorry the front desk person didn't provide the service we are known for. I'll use your comments at our next staff meeting to emphasize the importance of making sure someone is watching the desk when they're called away to assist another guest; and to be more careful in posting charges. Nice hotel close to highway and auto train

Loved everything except the lack of tea bags in the coffee packet. This is discrimination and I think complimentary tea should be available.

your bar is way over priced. For one glass I was charged $12, had I paid attention to that ahead of time I would not have ordered a glass as I can get an entire bottle for that price. that is my only real complaint.

EXCELLENT STAFF, STARTING WITH CHANEL!

Pros: The Staff was outstanding.
Cons: The Cafeteria was closed at night during the Holidays. Not good.
Location: Excellent location! Near everything, centrally located.
On these Christmas days finding personnel who are working and are willing to please you all the way it's important.

I'm sorry we didn't have the Bistro open during the holidays, but typically guests do not eat in the hotel at that time of year, and we wanted to give as many staff members time off to be with their families as possible.
