Pleasant hotel near the event we were attending

Posted Sep 10, 2013
Location: The location is in an area where there are covered bridges also close to the us border.
Hotel staff very friendly and great to help us with directions to our event.

Large bedroom

Posted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: Size of room.
Cons: Smell of smoke.
Location: Not too far from the main highway and yet close to the pretty town.
The room was nice and large and beds quite comfortable. We had prebooked and did not arrive until midnight. Maybe that was the reason that the air conditioning was not on but we arrived to an extremely warm room as the weather was hot. I like to arrive to a room that supports a sleeping temperature, but maybe that is me being picky?? The hotel is a little outdated, but not in a way that makes you feel that it is dirty, just some areas a little run down and in need of renovations, to keep up with other hotels. For the cost I would have expected a bit more. My main concern was that the room smelt a little of smoke, not a recent guest, more from the past. Perhaps the curtains needs washing or carpet replaced? On the whole I would still recommend the hotel, mainly for the size of the rooms for a family. We did not go for the complimentary breakfast, so cannot comment on it.

Florenceville inn

Posted Jul 23, 2013
Pros: Clean
My wife and I enjoy staying in smaller centres while travelling and would highly recommend the Florenceville Inn. The rooms and hotel were very clean as was the pool area. The staff in the hotel were all helpful and friendly The hotel kitchen was the only restaraunt still open in the evening and provided good food and value. The Florenceville Inn continues a long tradition of small town family run hotels by providing good clean accommodations and food at a fair price for the weary traveller.

Not too bad

Posted Oct 29, 2012
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Just outside the main part of Florenceville . Not a lot of choice of eating places nearby but this is probably as out of main season.
This was a typical motor inn with just basic facilities but clean and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless although the breakfast was only just adequate.

Pros: Close to family we were visiting.
Disappointed the hot tub is no longer there. The pool was also having issues so due to the fact they had to keep adding water it was cold. Overall it was a nice place in a nice town.
