No complaintsPosted Sep 9, 2015
Pros: Hotel is large with ample free parking.
Location: Close to major roads.
Our room was spacious and clean. I can't complain about anything. I had read other reviews and was concerned when we arrived and saw a bus with a hockey team in front of the hotel. The hotel is fairly large and we never heard any noise or were disrupted in any way. The breakfast was OK and we didn't have to wait.

Comfy beds, Great breakfast, sub-par spa/hot tubPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: The people. They are fantastic!
Cons: See comment above.
Location: Near intersection of 290, 495, and route 20. Several malls and farms nearby. Some farms have farm stands and some are pick-your-own.
We checked into the Embassy Suites knowing that we would get a good night's sleep. We stayed here for two nights, skipping a night in between. Pluses are the friendly and competent staff, superior quality of the beds and bedding, and the made-to-order breakfast that comes with the room. One minus is that this hotel, unlike some other chains, has not added a dark roast or robust coffee option. Another is that the spa/hot tub needed some attention. On Friday night the temperature was hot enough and the water was pretty clear, although the tile seats felt a little slimy. On Sunday night the water was very cloudy and the water was not very warm. We were surprised that there is no shower poolside. This would encourage people to shower before entering the pool. Not everyone will shower in their rooms beforehand...

Great roomPosted Jul 14, 2015
We had a quick stay, but we enjoyed a quick dip in the pool and a great breakfast. Everyone was nice and the room was clean. We stayed I a. Suite, which suits our family's needs to a tee! Lots of space and a big bathroom!

Nice hotel that needs a little upkeepPosted Jul 1, 2015
Our room was clean but the chair in living room was on its last leg and many items like the beds and tv's are getting old.

Really nice hotel but not 5 starsPosted Jun 30, 2015 on Hotels
Overall a nice hotel with friendly front desk people. Breakfast, while included, was served too late for sports teams who have early tournament games to partake - and that seemed to be a lot of the people staying there. In this day and age of fancy coffee machines, I think a hotel of this quality should offer that. I stayed here because it was the team hotel but it would have been nice if they had a few smaller rooms - I certainly didn't need a suite.

Switch rooms reservation typePosted Jun 27, 2015 on Hotels
I booked a non handicapped room and was given one anyway. I arrived too late to change the room (I had a family dinner to attend), so I stayed in the room. The shower was horrible, very little water coming out of the hand held shower head, also it kept slipping down. I purposely choose the non handicapped room when I booked so I am not sure what happened. This has happened before when I booked thru Hotels.com but I have managed to change the room. Not happy about it simce the room was not cheap.

Ok but still disappointing.Posted May 18, 2015
There is a minimum standard of quality one expects from the brand of Embassy Suites, my favorite hotel chain. This location in Marlborough, Massachusetts does meet those standards but just barely so. The physical layout is very nice, grounds are beautiful and the reception staff pleasant. But the hotel needs a makeover. The carpeting seemed old and looked dirty at places. The room had a tired look. The blanket for the sofa bed was dirty and had to be replaced. The bed was reasonably comfortable but bedding was very basic, not suitable for a 4 star property. Complementary toiletries were again, very basic. The same theme was repeated at the complementary breakfast buffet. While it was good enough, but compared to the other Embassy Suite properties, it was very basic. So, it is an ok place to stay in but not as good as the usual Embassy Suites.

Noisy but otherwise OK ...Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Staff, breakfast, cleanliness
Cons: better insulate (sound-wise) the rooms. get firmer mattresses and pillows
Location: Location was good
Turns out this is where families bring their kids to stay over for hockey tournaments. If you want quiet, this is not a good choice... We requested a change in rooms to get away from the noise (kids) and the staff accommodated us even though the place was basically sold out. The suites were clean but not well insulated (sound-wise) from each other. Although we got away from most of the (kids) noise, the lady next to us woke us up at 4:30 AM talking very loudly on the phone. (She stopped after I pounded on the wall :^) Bathroom sinks are in the bedroom which is very inconvenient. Hot water and shower are good. Full breakfast was great - staff was very helpful and friendly. Bed (king) was soft- pillows way too soft. AC (central) was good - room had a small balcony facing an interior garden. WIFI was OK.
