Wonderful views and very quiet.

Posted Dec 2, 2016
Went for a weekend as Nephew had wedding meal there. Lovely secluded place beautiful views and really quiet. We were in one of the annexes which was very comfortable. I had an excellent cooked breakfast and there was plenty of choice for cereals etc. The dinner was v good esp the dessert. Staff v friendly and helpful, would certainly go again.

Good hotel set in the Malvern Hills, walk out of the hotel grounds onto the Malverns. Malvern Beacon less than 1 hours walk away.

One to avoid!!!!!

Posted Oct 8, 2016 on Hotels
With the exception to location which is great, there is little more to say positive about this hotel. The room was very tired and dated. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall, there was mold around the bathroom taps and tiles. The centeal heating did not work. There were stains on the bedding and the TV took 5 minutes to turn on. Beware when booking. The hotel advertises breakfast included but when checking out tried to invoice for breakfast again, suggesting the advertisement was a mistake. All round one to avoid. You can get much better for your money!!!!

Cozy stay with amazing breakfast and view

Posted Sep 16, 2016
Pros: Lovely room, very nice view, friendly staff
Location: It's up on a mountain so big tour buses can't come up - only small cars.
Had a great time staying here. It was a lovely experience!

Short Break

Posted Aug 23, 2016
Pros: The views. Staff very courteous and helpful. Nice quiet setting.
Cons: The cooked breakfast.
Location: Great Malvern was closeby. Ledbury and Tewkesbury were very nice places to visit. Worcester had a lovely walk along the riverside.
The views from the rooms were spectacular. Room was very nice. Did not think our breakfast though was very good. The bacon was overcooked as was the fried bread. The scrambled egg looked like a scrambled mess. We have stayed in lots of hotels and received a much nicer cooked breakfast.

Great weekend stay hotel with stunning views

Posted Aug 8, 2016 on Hotels
Stayed two nights in order to attend a family wedding in the Cotswolds. Hotel is split between three buildings, with the reception, bar and restaurant in the original hotel building, whilst the other rooms are about 200m away, which at night can be dark, and over a gravel carpark. The room was old style but with a very good standard of finish, including double glazing for peace and quiet, and air-con for the warmer days. A comfortable bed made for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was of the typical B&B variety, but with a good choice from the menu and quality. Service was also attentive and responsive. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for a quiet location with fantastic views from the Malvern hills. Note that it is away from the towns and there didn't appear to be much around in terms of pubs or other restaurants. That wasn't an issue for us, but something to be aware of.

A treasure in the hills

Posted Aug 1, 2016 on Hotels
This hotel is tucked away on the valley side and has brilliant views. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We couldn't make use of the bar/lounge/restaurant as we had a family party nearby but they looked great places to end the day. The drive up to the hotel is pretty steep with chicane like bends (like a lot of the area) so a bit of a confident driver is needed. My husband found the bed too hard - fine for me - but the pillows were not good!
